Needs better training materials so that non-technical users can be just as successful as teh savvy ones
Take all the training they provide. Anyone can use if, however, you have to be knowledgeable to really get the full effect and value.
Pairing Learning and Development with HRIS
We use almost every module of Cornerstone and love how everything works seamlessly together.
We honestly have not found a downside to using the software.
So far so good, so its a highly recommended Software to switch to if the company is allowed. and implement everymodule they have, as they are very useful.
With each of the modules we use it has helped us streamline the process, cross talk with other departments and the ease to complete the task has been much better.
This is a very nice tool to keep all assets organized for your HR systems/profiles/etc.

Full featured product set, extremely responsive during the sales and post-sales process; cloud offering makes things very simple; performance globally is outstanding as they have Akamai (content delivery) built into the product
They are not the cheapest provider, so may not fit all budgets.
I ran the evaluation for a client of ours. I found CSOD to be superior to all other LMS platforms. Excellent cloud offering, outstanding client service, and full featured platform. They had a production site up and running in 2 weeks to meet a particular client demand.
It is a funny experience and now it has a great look&feel. It is very intuitive and easy to use. If you are an administrator you can learn fast.
We are a latam client and provider so we have many issues with the latam translation. It would be great to have the look&feel in all the system.
Please review the implementation methodology with your salesforce because it is wrong to give the same solution for US clients in Latam targets. The training and execution must be reviewed and explained clearly with the client.
Our clients has still many data in paper. Human Resources in Latam is not always considered like a Tenhnological area so the budget is low. Now, CSOD with low prices and easy implementation help to our clients to have a solution with low prices.
I like how we can customize and create our own templates, it's easy to navigate and track training.
A times software seems a little complex and reporting at times consumes a lot of time.
It was used in scheduling training and goal setting, it helps to link the individual employee goals to organization objectives.
It is easy to use and nice user interface.
It is not completely configurable. It does not support each special case.
Having only one HRIS any more and not one per country in 22 countries.
The thing that I like the most about the HR suite is that it's extremely organized, and it's very user friendly to navigate through. It took me only a couple of weeks to really pick up the software.
The one piece that I dislike the most is the support. When you start out as a new user, there were a lot of times where I would call in for assistance, but really struggled to get somebody to actually help me out.
It was a great system to utilize, and I really recommend any company remotely interested to explore it further.
The biggest problems we were solving were all compliance related issues. The HR suite is very helpful in that sense!
It is an all in one system. For not specializing in one specific area (Comp, Benefits, Sales Comp), they do a pretty good job of offering a product that suits the entire organization. Also their support before and after implementation is awesome. Ans the PM always stick to the schedule to make us accountable for going live.
As I am in total rewards, there was no "pricing" tool to do job evaluations. That had to be done with an another system (ADP, MarketPay) to complement the system.
More efficiencies, Less time taken to get things processed and done. More automation in saving man hours. ,
