That the cookie banner is customizable via individual HTML, CSS and JS. Also, the support is great. I had a problem when I customized the banner and the support was able to solve it within a few hours. The integration of the banner was easy and it finds daily use. There are many features to set up the banner as needed.

Their website provides very easy to read instructions on how to setup the Cookiebot tracking code in order to become compliant with GDPR rules. Cookiebot's code saved me a lot of time from doing this myself from scratch.

None really. It'd be nice though if they ran some scoring to let you know if your site ever fell out of compliance with your legal policies versus the cookies they scan.

Before Cookiebot, I studied GDPR regulations like a maniac- still unsure as to what to do, how and when. Via a GDPR legal training subscription, I was recommended this software, and it changed my life. I love best that cookiebot will automatically "compile" all cookies stored by the site in a doc (that can then be embedded in your policies for those customers who want to know everything in extreme detail). It will highlight any issues, such as potential data collection before the opt-in field appears, etc. It is basically your IT department+legal in one. For a small monthly fee.

The user interface is a bit strange- it took me a while to get used to it. But that seems to be my personal taste- my It interns had no issues with it so far.

No-brainer really. If you want to make your GDPR compliance easy, use this software.

We're using Cookiebot to make our clients' websites GDPR compliant and to customize their cookie banner.

What I appreciate most is that we can send the invitation to the customer from our own account. This means that the payment is handled by the customer, while we can manage all the technical settings through our account. This way, the customer doesn't have to deal with all the technical questions, and we don't have to mediate between Cookiebot's invoicing and the customer.

We cannot remove users ourselves; we need the customer for this. This can be a bit inconvenient, especially when customers no longer require access.

Cookiebot assists us with handling cookies on the websites we create.
