CI provides all the features of a compliant cookie consent solution. Knowing this, I can focus on customizing the already excellent UI to match my sites look and feel, tone of voice.

Backoffice could be more intuitive, especially if you dive deep into customization. But hey, I don't need to go there very often, so not really an issue.

I do not really see any downsides - if I should point out a downside it would be the Wordpress plugin. It has not been updated for two years and Wordfence actually warned us about this plugin due to potential security risks involved.

They are helping us making sure that the websites we create for our clients are fully GDPR compliant. It has been a hassle before Cookie Information so we are really thankful about that.

I don't have to be afraid of not beeing compliant about informing visitors about cookies. After implementing CookieInformation I sleep well at night :)

Cookie information includes a robust set of options to control your site's cookies. It includes preset categories like functional, analytic and marketing. It offers a good set of options to manage and categorize your cookies to these categories. There is also a very good API to create custom functionalities with integration to CMS's. The customer service is also top notch and they usually reply within 4 hours.

The admin interface could use some love. There have been some updates recently but the work is still in progress and not all admin interface tools are yet updated. Hopefully this will change in the future.

We use Cookie information to recognize and categorize our site's cookies. We are also using the API for example to block some content which shouldn't be tracking the user without their consent.
