i) I feed the product details prior to appointments. So I don't fumble for records in the eleventh hour.

Being a salesperson how much ever cautious I have tried to maintain records I failed miserably. I was not able to fathom the reason. Thankfully my sales head decided to go in for a sales based app. It was then I got introduced to Contalog, a digital catalog for Sales. But from my experience, in terms of features I would say it is far more than just a digital catalog.
Inventory process has always the been a serious task for me, but now Contalog makes handling our inventory much easier. Stock transfers, channel specific stock and bin location helps in finding what's where are adjusting stocks as well.
Lack of appointment scheduling system is a minus. Without it, it is hard to schedule follow ups and reschedule delayed appointments.
Contalog gave me a sigh of relief by offering direct order placing facility in the app which was way too convenient for me and my management as well. So no more sitting in front of computers after closing a sale.
It has a free trial and the pricing is reasonable at $99/month for the regular version to I think its $299 for enterprise. It supports my selling business on Ebay and is integrated with Quickbooks so I can keep track of my revenues, margins, etc. I know I'll be supported too if I ever decide to sell on Amazon.
I've heard it doesn't have manufacturing inventory management but that doesn't matter to me because I only resell goods. There also isn't any in person training or webinars to support the programs usage which would augment the live online support that I used.
I've cleaned up my inventory management in a major way for some of the smaller piece products that I sell and utilize the forecasting feature of the software which has helped my workflow, decreased stress, and given insight into my business.
