I love the dashboard has all information at my fingertips. Ordering inspections and feasibility reports has never been easier. The system is very user friendly. Reports can be generated with a couple of quick clicks! My account manager is always available to walk me through all the new enhancements. Talk about customer service - everyone at Land Gorilla deserves an A+. I highly recommend Land Gorilla!

We have been working with Land Gorilla for a couple years now and have nothing but positive things to say. They have a very robust system, incredibly responsive support, and competitive pricing. Really can't recommend them enough. Implementation and integration with Encompass was very quick, and very easy.
I really don't have anything that I dislike about Land Gorilla. They're great.
We started one time close construction loans, and needed a system to track the budget, draws, and communications with builders and clients.
The crm is very intuitive and forgiving if any human errors are made.
Occassionally there are small quirks. We've come across a balance issue and another small issue. Our CSM rep and tech support were helpful along the way and provided a resolution in a timely manner.
File and draw management is the main purpose for GMM to use Land Gorilla. However, we also find the inspection feature very useful as well.
What is crucial about Land Gorilla is that it allows me as a Construction Lending Manager to operate and conduct busienss with a smaller staff. It is a comprehensive Construction program that helps a small mom and pop builder to a large production builder and all builders in between.
I would like to have an app, similar to the experience that the builder and borrower has on OneSite....An App that allows me to facilitate the construction mangeemnt side on my phone.

Managed construction lending
The site is incredibly easy to navigate, which is very important for someone who is on the site on a daily basis. The implementation team stayed with us step by step to make sure we felt comfortable. Customer support is A+, whether it's a builder, borrower or myself there is always someone on the other end to help. All the different pre close and post close services offered make Land Gorilla a one stop shop as far as construction and renovation lending goes. There is complete integration with our LOS making it very easy to get files set up in the system.
I have had no major downsides to using Land Gorilla. THey have been a great industry partner.
When done internally construction and renovation project management can be overwhelming and require a lot of man power. Land Gorilla lifts that weight and carries most of it through the process. They assist in pre close pieces such as builder and project review. Then come alongside again for the draw management portion of the project.
The Land Gorilla staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Their training during onboarding is thorough and they are eager to provide ongoing support.
The platform itself is one of the most comprehensive I've seen for draw management. Using it greatly reduces if not eliminates user error and serves a vital function in making sure projects progress. It also empowers fewer draw administrators to manage a higher capacity of renovation projects.
While I appreciate the messaging component within the system, external parties are less eager to adopt it. I prefer it as a single point of reference for all tasks, milestones, communication, etc. Since other parties prefer using regular email to communicate, I do appreciate the system's ability to pull those messages into and document them within the loan file. However, the external parties must include the appropriate LG email address, so there are times when communication outside of LG is not captured. Also, 203(k) Consultants have been reluctant to use LG"s software, citing a duplication of efforts. My observation is that LG's system is more accurate and reliable than a Consultant's personal records. I would like to see the Consultant community embrace this system vs. complaining about it.
Without this system, we would not be able to effectively manage draw administration for renovation loans. I have worked for shops in past that relied on Excel spreadsheets to manage renovation projects. This system is so far advanced from an Excel spreadsheet, it would be like comparing the Flintstones to the Jetsons. (I realize I'm dating myself with the reference. ;)) One small feature I particularly appreciate is the system's ability to accurately track interest earned on the renovation escrow accounts. That is a feature our corporate accounting system cannot duplicate.

The only thing that could be improved is staffing- orders can take longer when their volume is heavy.
They are saving us time by performing the reviews, background checks, budget analysis, etc. This gives me the ability to have more time to assist loan teams on the front-end and the closing aspect.
