The analytics are so insightful and meaningful. It's great knowing exactly who has watched a video, for how long, and how many times and I love the sharing feature that allows a user to share the video with a colleague that you might not have known about.
There is a learning curve when first using Consensus and there are also organizational challenges in terms of best practices, standards and organizing the content which can get challenging without a good upfront strategy.
We are solving the problem of better engaging with customers during the sales cycle. It can be difficult to gauge interest using emails and generic video links. Consensus provides great insights all throughout the sales cycle, allowing us to course correct an engagement with a prospect or double down and focus on a prospect showing a higher propensity to buy.
The Consensus Platform is intuituive and has been a critcal part of my weekly outbound motions as an SDR. Having the ability to send 'teaser" micro-demosntrations has proven to improve engagement and drive booked meetings. Additionally, our in-depth journey styled demosntrations are a different variation that keeps prospects engaged when asking for more. I am a big fan and cant remember life before Consensus!
One year later and I still cant find anything that I dislike about the Consensus Platform.

When launching campaigns, gauging customer interest can be challenging. Consensus videos aid in comprehending customer preferences and popular topics through insightful video statistics.
Consensus has helped so many of our sellers and account teams scale their selling activities and navigate & empower complex buying groups at our customers'. We see significant increases in seller/Solution Engineer productivity, close rates, and reduction in sales cycle times when we compare engagements where Consensus was used efficiently to those where Consensus wasn't used. There is definitely a "before and after" with Consensus for us!
- When your internal catalog of Consensus demos starts to get extensive, it can be a little hard to keep track of and effectively find the content you need

An easy-to-use tool that allows sales reps to meet customers further down the funnel by educating them before discovery/demo phases. It frees up SC resources from performing demos for unqualified customers and allows them to focus on
The navigation of their reporting UI could be a little friendlier to navigate
Consensus allows us to better educate our customers before bringing in technical sales resources. In an industry where SCs are being asked to support more reps/more opps/more demos, it allows for customers to learn more about the platform and "See a little product" and raise objections with the sales rep, before even bringing in technical resources.
In summary what I like the best is that it enables to do achieve more with less and it enables true scaling of presales.
What I really like is that
- It's easy to configure and super user friendly
-Through Demolytics, it provides analysis of prospects/customers interactions with the demos
- Enables you to dicover new stakeholders in the accounts where you are selling
- Customer success team is one of the best in the industry!
I don't see downsides of using Consensus. I wish we could see Consensus vision of using AI for demo automation embeded in the solution soon!

The concept of demo automation and buyer enablement comes to life with Consensus. Consensus helps us sell between meetings and enables our sales teams to meet buyer needs of understanding our product and its value to them, at a deeper level - on their own time. In the first quarter after launching Consensus we were able to see a positive impact on net new ARR and TCV when Consensus was utilized versus not. Additionally, the individuals at Consensus are great to work with.
While Consensus has rich insights, termed Demolytics, certain insights can be challenging to get to. I know the team is making improvements so I am happy to see that.
Consensus is helping us deliver messages to our buyers to showcase the value of our product - its benefiting us through positive impact on ARR and TCV.
Housing our products in a library of videos has helped streamline our sales process. Our team utilizes Consensus on a daily basis and the tool has become an integral part of how we showcase our products and solutions. The ability to house general to detailed, subject focused videos has also given the viewer the control to watch exactly what they need to see.
I have no dislikes about Consensus! I do wish there was a more robust video tool but thats not related to consensus as a product- 5 stars for Consensus platform!

Consensus is a great tool to share pre recorded demonstrations. It is user friendly and prospects find it easy to use as well.
The organisation of the demo libraries is important and could make it easier to find the right demo.
It is hard for our VCS to create demos all the time this saves time as they are pre recorded and we can send them out.
