We spent a lot of money on several different solutions before we found Connected Business. What we like the best is that we are able to run our business on one solution instead of 3 or 4. We also like that Connected Business is highly customization as we have customized it quite a bit. We also like that Connected Business is always being improved and unlike when we were using Dynamics, the owners seem to care and listen to new feature suggestions.
Sometimes it feels that it is too big of a system for us with too many features.
Make sure you get a good partner to implement it. We did it ourselves and it was a lot harder than we expected.
We bought Connected Business after being frustrated with using a few different solutions to manage the business, sales team and web site. I felt that i was spending all my time managing our computers and that i was drowning. Ever since we moved to Connected Business and everyone got use to it, things have been much better and our sales have grown.
Connected Business is a very elaborate tool that can serve many purposes for a company. It combines a companies ERP system with marketing, POS, and CRM, among many more all into one solid platform.
Implementing this solution can obviously be a hurdle since there is so many different features and options that it can do. You will need to allow for learning time and getting adjusted to it once in production.
I would certainly give it a try or at least do a demo and learn how combining software can save time and resources across the board at your company. The different modules are important to look into as well.
I will try to list all the problems this really solves but as I said earlier it is really an all in one type of tool so it does so many different things. I'm pretty sure I havent even touched the surface on everything but generally it is an ERP system that also does marketing and eCommerce.

There are a few areas that Connected Business has made a difference in the way we do business. The biggest impact for us, was having the eCommerce system working with our inventory and order fulfillment processes. Having one system to handle the telephone, web and Amazon sales has solved a lot of the challenges we were facing previously. We were having a difficult time of keep track of our inventory quantities and Connected Business solved those problems for us. I also like the Business intelligence as it is really flexible once you learn it. We have found that the system is far more customization than the one we replaced.
The bank deposits are a nightmare. We deposit about 100 checks a day and each one has to be selected to create a band deposit transaction. This can take 15 minutes! We have been told that you can select more than one check at a time in their next release but seems it would have been addresses before. Its also sometimes hard to understand all the configuration options. Support can be hit and miss, sometimes support tickets are responded to quickly, other times we get a answer that they need to check with a developer.

Coming from another system we used for a decade, the biggest issue for us was that we were blindly selling across different sales channels without understanding the customers history in other sales channels or the true inventory. We would routinely sell out of stock products then call the customer to apologize. This was hurting our sales. Since going with Connected Business we have been growing at about 30% the past two years.
I like the fact that it is easy to use. I like how I am able to create intelligence reports related to business.
I like the platform but it could be a bit informative. Sometimes I have trouble understanding the features.

I would love to see a little more web based SEO access, however that back end does allow all features to be used , it is only a matter of convienance.
This system is perfect for business that sell products on any platform either wholesale , retail or online. It does not have many features to support service based companies so it is not a good fit for lawyer for example.
Having all in one system is a huge benefit! I have my shopping cart, my inventory, my accounting , my logistics and shipping, my Customer relations both B2B and B2C all in the same system. This takes away synchronization problems between platforms, simplified significantly company wide training and use as well as allow us to have online portal like Amazon all real time with our store and web inventory so all is always true and in real time. With automation and marketing also built-in, it is so easy to keep in touch with your customers. So easy to update and maintain the website, and also very important is the audit trail that allow us to see exactly every entry made by any employee without the ability to delete anything so it gives us full view of all departments. It is like having an extra manager making sure no one is abusing the system.
