With any virtual environment, the ease depends on your users (attendees) tech knowledge. One change I would like to see would be the ability to charge registration fees on their registration module, which would cut down on the need for another platform and setting up an API.
With international travel still an issue, my organization could host speakers that would not have been able to enter the country otherwise.
Communique has an excellent project management team that really knows the virtual event platform and experience inside and out. They are knowledgable, capable and really care about making our event a success. I appreciated their attention to detail, responsiveness and their desire to help us anyway they can to ensure that our annual virtual conference went off without a hitch. The virtual event platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It's constructed and laid out in a very logistical way which made it easy for us to take our usual in-person conference and translate it into a virtual experience. We received lots of great feedback from our attending customers and partners!
Some parts of the platform can be designed to be a little more user friendly for backend users and adminstrators, however, most of the issues are being addressed through future updates.
We needed to take our usual in-person customer conference and turn it into a virtual experience to adjust to the travel limitations and health concerns associated with COVID. Communique provided us with the perfect virtual platform that allowed us to do just that. The platform had great customer engagement features that mimicked a real life in-person event like an auditorium that allowed us to host over 30+ customer and partner led breakout sessions, general sessions, and networking events; an interactive exhibit hall with 18 sponsor booths; a resource center that hosted our webinars, assets and collateral, a build your own agenda feature, a networking tool and a break room with fun and engaging interactive activities like a photobooth and much more. With the help of their project management team, we were able to pull off a highly successful virtual event 2 years in a row! We are repeat customers for a good reason!
The ease of building the site and working with the Communique team. They were always quick to respond to my questions, needs and wants. The custom avatars are a HUGE plus and highly recommended.

Very little and nothing major to note. Possibly the registration front end lags behind features offerd by other in this space. But you can interface other registration software to compinsate for this.

Honestly, the dislike wouldn't be anything , I always wish speakers and vendors would turn in items needed for the platform sooner but nothing that you all can control!!!

Figuring out how to evolve from a live to a virtual 'expo' involving lots of personal interaction and information sharing was a mystery, but we realized it could be done. The Communique platform allowed for plenty of communication opportunities and the ability to share lots of information.
Their virtual event platform is the best I have seen. We held five virtual events for AIAG in 2020, and received high marks from our attendees. Their team is easy to work with and was helpful in getting our staff up to speed quickly so we could transition from in person events to virtual in a very hectic year that was 2020.
Due to the circumstances of 2020, and the need for almost all organizations to move to virtual events, growth was rapid at Communique and 6Connex in order to keep up with demand. Sometimes, there was more time needed than was allowed to get new staffers up the learning curve in order to make them proficient in assisting customers.
