Real-time collaboration interface makes it very easy to teach students how to code online while lecturing. I use it for in-class exercises and it works great! Must have for all programming teachers - no longer have to walk around the classroom just to help students with debugging their code.

Nothing wrong with the interface as it is now - would be nice to see in the future the ability to have assessments built into the tool as well.

With COVID, I need to teach compsci online - very difficult not being able to talk to students directly as to exactly where their issues lie in the code. Now I can see them type and run code in real-time by keystrokes! So much more efficient!

Codingrooms is the first online platform that prioritizes the teacher's needs in a virtual classroom setting. Teaching remotely by combining Zoom and screen share has been a headache and more importantly ineffective. I feel the need for a solution where I can reach my students and address their needs all at the same time from one single web browser has been addressed with Codingrooms.

So far the teaching experience has been flawless. One thing that might be beneficial to add would be breakout rooms for students to do assignments and projects. The way I was advised to go about it in the meantime is to leave the sessions open for the students to complete their projects.

Remote teaching specifically for computer science and programming has been really tough. The fact that I can view and modify all my students' code from one single web browser in real-time is priceless. Also, If any of my students has not been paying attention or writing code, the system will show them when they were last active.
