I like that is helps my organization to optimize costs and to keep budgeting proposals and documentation organized. Additionally it allows for collaboration among colleagues in different departments and provides a shared output goal.

Sometimes I struggle to master the user interface but I think this could be helped through a tutorial or some other way of learning more about how to best use the services.

We are solving our key organizational problems of budget optimization and creating shared goals for everyone at the organization. Additionally, CloudHealth allows us to innovate and be more creative in creating plans and goals for inter-departmental collaboration.

I really like the reports that Cloud Health generates and the tables it creates, which provide a very good visual for the trends in cloud usage and helps identify any areas where the cloud usage costs might be excessive. I also appreciate the suggestions that the platform provides for improving resource efficency!

I would've loved to see an option for exporting the graphical reports CloudHealth creates as Microsoft Office files. That would've helped tremendously in official meetings/presentations. I also find the notifications icon and settings hard to manipulate.

My organization was using CloudHealth for basic analysis and identifying areas where costs could be reduced. To that we found CloudHealth's recommendations useful in helping us establish better governance policies for our cloud usage.

Very intuitive and easy to use software for data optimization and management. The outputs, graphs, and graphics are super clear, clean and easy to use, which is expected from an application that came out of VMware. Also has meaningful capabilities (some of which I don't even use but know about!) that is great for a variety of organizations.

Connectivity. With other VMware products, I've always had connectivity/speed issues and its the same unfortunate case here as well. Sometimes the screen will lag for a few seconds and have had it freeze on me for a minute or two before.

Consider breadth and depth of necessary functions and if you need real-time information. Consider potential outputs you may want - does everything need to be in a pretty graph, or is a Excel-style output fine?

Use of CloudHealth mainly for financial management and operations, looking to see revenue/sales and costs trends over time and over product segment. Breakdowns and detail cost structure analyses are also super helpful as well, as we need a P&L to run our company.

The inability to personalize the fast bar on the left-hand side to make it simpler to go to sites I usually visit would be my main complaint about the app, if I had to select just one issue. The screen periodically lags for a few seconds, and it has previously stalled on me for a while. I've always had network and performance issues. In fact, it is the most useful tool I have ever used.

Because misconfigurations can be found using security rules and customized policies, loudHealth offers real-time visibility into the security posture of our cloud. Additionally, the platform gives me the ability to prioritize concerns based on numerical risk levels and offers visual context for swiftly analyzing and fixing issues. I appreciate that CloudHealth creates reports and tables that provide a fantastic visual picture of cloud consumption trends and assist in locating any areas where cloud usage charges are exorbitant.

Easy of use. Easy to configure for custom use cases. Gives visibility into real time costs. This gives overall business process visibility.

- It’s still not that scalable when deployed in the GCP infrastructure

The biggest use case for us and my team was to monitor the current slot utilization for the cloud instances that process data and process queries. It was always challenging to know the current / real-time health of the instances. Cloud health has given that visibility.

We can easily install any light software on this cloud at any instance. it is very reliable and friendly to use. It keeps in account the entire health of VMs on which this agent is installed. Cloud health never bound; instead it allows us to take a look on our VMs such as Disk space and Disk usage. It is an amazing tool about generating infrastructure reports after going through its security feature which detects unwanted and odd circumstance hence allowing us to invent properly about fixing the cause. It helps in easy migration from other clouds to cloud health. It is a very cost effective solution which helps you in publishing budget reporting. Its cloud security system helps us to continue threat detection and their management. It has great automation data accuracy.

This tool is not linked with any other application like Web apps, services Bus or Traffic managers also I really want them to work on PaaS part of cloud. Moreover I have faced some issues in reporting which are complex to manage and run.

It is a quality controlled and cost effective solution which gives you your cloud visibility, your cloud security and a very effective governance and policy management cloud for your system. It is surely recommended by me.

It has helped in visualizing and optimizing of our cloud. Not only this, but now it can automate our clouds too. It has showed us a path how to analyze data by integrating with such services which has eventually helped us in accessing the main hub of robust data. It has aligned our business with improves processes and agility and upgrade of processes in terms of security .now it is quite easy for us to control our data and reduced the complexity which we were facing. It has given us ease in term of Optimizing and successfully migrating of our infrastructure.

I like CloudHealth for it intuitive user interface and their willingness to listen to their customers with integration feature enhancements.

This is not really a dislike but request for reporting enhancement. While CloudHealth satisfied our current needs for cost reporting on our AWS account, we find there is need to be able to drill down more into cost of individual resources instead of just at the account level.

We need to display cost and usage info on few hundreds of AWS account. With CloudHealth, we have an easy way to allow account owner to have access to billing data without granting them additional privileges in their AWS account.

VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth helps us understand the cloud costs of our customers with a deep drill down to each service, linked account, etc. It also helps us visualize the data using dashboards and view some cost savings recommendations

In my opinion, VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth is lacking a central view of cost savings recommendations for many services. Although there are recommendations for commitments and a few others, there is no central location to view all recommendations (for example: EIPs that are not assigned to any instance) and this makes it a bit harder to understand how to save on costs

VMware Aria Cost powered by CloudHealth is solving the problem of having a centralized view for all of our (and our customers) cloud costs with an option to filter and visualize the data in many ways.
