Cloudcraft is praised for its intuitive and user-friendly interface, especially for its ability to create visually appealing and informative AWS architecture diagrams. Users highlight features like cost estimation, drag-and-drop functionality, and the integration with AWS accounts, enabling quick prototyping and cost analysis. While some users wish for more support for other cloud providers and greater flexibility in customization, Cloudcraft consistently receives positive feedback for its ease of use and effectiveness in communication and project planning.

I love how Cloudcraft integrates with AWS and pulls all your servers into the system and maps everything out for you. so you can easily show how your infrastructure is designed. exporting as pdf, jpg is great. but also the export as terraform code is awesome.
honestly nothing. the system is supereb.
if you want a great 3d/2d mapping tool for aws this is the one. its so simple and easy. worht every penny
we constantly update our infra and with cloudcraft we can share a visual map of it with all staff.
when planning a new project the budget tool is great as you visually plot the infra and then get a accurate monthly budget too.
The easiness of the tool in order to draw diagrams
That it does not have all the aws services
The problems that I'm solving with Cloudcraft is to have a tool to draw architectural diagrams
I enjoy the ability to build architecture diagrams while simultaneously understanding the impact of the costs for planning and budgeting purposes. The visual interface is very user friendly and easy to use. Anyone with an understanding of the AWS can dive right in without any real learning curve. When compared to using AWS Cost Calculator this thing is a cakewalk.
As far as user experience is concerned (although very minor) one helpful feature would be to link icons with other objects so that they are in an object group. Due to the fact that I do not have a paid account I am unable to connect my AWS to display live components. But understandably this is a paid feature. Though it would be nice to preview it to get a full experience before committing to a subscription.
We are solving both visual understanding and implementation of our AWS architecture for documentation purposes as well as cost analysis for budgeting and proposals. This helps from both a project planning perspective, implementation and budgeting, from start to finish of the application lifecycle.
The possibility to export Terraform code for the diagram
That not all AWS services are shown.. multiple icons for the same service
Create diagrams for AWS business cases
I like multiple things about CloudCraft. Following are the top items:
1. CloudCraft supports most of the AWS components.
2. I am able to maintain my architecture very well.
3. I am able to export the diagrams in multiple ways.
1. Cloudcraft should support the resizable canvas.
2. It should support the text-based diagram creation as well.
I am able to create my cloud-based architectures easily with inbuilt AWS components.
Cloudcraft has allowed us to have a professional finish when it comes to generating infrastructure schemes.
It has also been especially useful saving time, when obtaining the estimated cost of an infrastructure.
To top it all off, AWS syncing is super useful, although it could still be improved a lot. We are considering expanding the license we currently have.
The cost of the license is somewhat high, especially if you want 5 people to have access. Synchronization with AWS can still be improved.
Improvement in the realization of cloud infrastructure schemes
I am using cloudcraft free features to diagram AWS Architectures. Its very easy tool to use and represent your architecture.
It would be better if Cloudcraft support all cloud providers like GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud apart form AWS
I am using it to showcase AWS Architectures to our clients
Easy interface; intuitive to make complex diagrams
Would love downloadable software as well.
Diagraming for developer presentations. Easier to communicate details to teammates.
CloudCraft is a great tool to design and document amazing professional looking architecture diagrams, and on top of that it's really simple to use.
It's sometimes hard to position text the way you want it, and the arrows between elements could be more customizable.
I'm using CloudCraft to document existing architecture and present newly designed architecture to clients. The biggest benefit is the time saving which CloudCraft gives me since the UI is really easy to use.
