DevOptics provides immediate transparency into the end-to-end software delivery process
The free version is pretty limiting especially when using Value Streams
It improved visibility of where things were happening and what could be optimised
Metrics give insights into what's happening at all stages of the DevOps pipeline, from design to development to deployment. Metrics are objective measures. This tool provide all necessary information about metrics
Specially there is not any special dislikes.
It is strongly recommended, they collected all necessary functionalities in 1 tool. Support for the industry standard CI/CD automation server is built-in. Get critical, real-time insights across your entire infrastructure. Empower your teams to plan and execute best-in-class software delivery. DevOptics directly integrates with Jira, GitHub, GitLab and BitBucket to track changes as they move through your delivery process from initial concept to customer.
In our company we easily integrate it with our developer tools. Also all Jenkins funcitonality supported, so it did not painful move it to this tool
Teams, streams of work and tools are all connected as part of the delivery process of a product
There are no strong points that I dislike
Gaining better insight on how quick and with what quality the software is delivered.
Many enterprises are trying to do a DevOps transformation. Continuous improvement is required. Metrics are a must. DevOptics is open source that you can immediately take advantage of. Many people don't know that. They also have a paid version with more capabilities.
Its a new product and is still evolving with more capabilities
Visibility is the main thing here. You can identify bottlenecks and then have your teams focus on improvements
very easy to use and see the main steps gaps
the value is a little high, I understand the added value that can bring but the value is too high for an initial result, I believe it should come embedded in the cloudbees license
one version open source
check execution times and where we can improve the infrastructure
CloudBees DevOptics Value Streams is very helpful for creating release Jenkins pipelines . The UI is smart for visualizing flow all flows.
The premium version is required for GitHub integration.
Best features.
It provides high level Jenkins jobs in term of performance and also the CI/CD pipelines.
The cleanliness of the UI and how intuitive it is
Wish there was the ability to customize more
Solving the issue of execs being confused and unfamiliar with the native Jenkins dashboard
Test results to be published in regards to interoperability and quality of experience without gateways. It gives lots of alternatives and flexibility to integrate into market trending tools. Integration with CI/CD pipeline and easy to implement builds using its plugins. It added value to one-click automated deployment and review results on end to end process monitoring.
Not a dislike that I can think of too sensitive to network connectivity make sure to have your plan ahead if you are going to use lots of proxies. If you need to rework you should go back and start from scratch but for complex data you need to put more effort not stepping on each others toe.
More of selections, lower cost and not being locked to one choice.
A great tool to be integrated with versioning tools and want to go back to see based on the enhancement that you brought to the productivity and value-added. High availability and self-recovery options. You will see the gain from the cost you paid. Frequent updates and demos from the vendor company help to resolve issues easier.
