We've used ClickBid for several years for our events, yet there's always a bit of a re-learning process each auction season. What sets ClickBid apart is the immediate, timely support that is only a phone call or chat away.
We'd love to have a printable, user manual with quick steps in each section vs. a transcript of the YouTube videos. We're thankful to have THAT, but would like a document that's more like a quick access reference manual.
Using the same platform year after year has made our auction stronger and more attractive.

Having all your tools simply labeled and easily navigatable makes for a refined and stress-free experience.
I would recommend having a simple "save" button when making changes or updates in most fields/tabs. I believe it auto saves/updates most of the time (and there is the complete and go back button) but having that certainity and simplicity would be beneficial. I also would add my vote for supplying a way to have auction items open at a specific time automatically.
Keeping everything organized in one space as well as automating alot of the ground work that would fall to the user.

The instant "you've been outbid" notifications are tied with the speed of checking out our donors at the end of the night.
We have some constituents who aren't onboard with mobile bidding yet, but the "roaming butlers" or concierge bidders help mitigate it as an issue. I was thrown by the Quantity Items the first time we used it to sell centerpieces because it said 20 were sold but only 16 people won. Turns out some people won several.
We love the day of event support (a dedicated person will take your calls throughout the event). We looked at a number of software options and made the right choice with ClickBid. I recently had another vendor contact me with a similar offering at more than double the price, which did not include any support.
No more congestion at registration or checkout, plus easy reporting on the whole event at the close of the event, rather than at the end of the next business day, after we consolidate 4+ spreadsheets.
Easy to upload/edit items and photos. Software was so user-friendly.

User friendly tool if you have to raise money for a fundraising event. It's easy to recognize the donors. Another plus is that the Customer Service is quite responsive. It's also easy to learn for the volunteers on your event.
