Excellent Customer Support, Easy to Use Interface, Robust Communication Features, Affordable Pricing
Limited Report Customization, Occasional Software Glitches, Steep Learning Curve, Outdated User Interface
ChurchTeams is generally well-received by users, who appreciate its ease of use, especially for small groups and event registration. Users consistently highlight the platform's strong customer support, with praise for their responsiveness and willingness to accommodate user needs. While users find the system intuitive for the most part, some report a learning curve, particularly with reporting features. The lack of a dedicated mobile app is frequently mentioned as a potential area for improvement.

Churchteams has been so easy to use. The initial upload of information was all handled for us and easy, the transition was seamless, and the experience has been user-friendly to our pastors and congregation! We combined a few databases into one, which our administrative staff loves. We also have found their system of following up with people to be easy to prevent people from slipping through the cracks. When we have had any questions or aren't sure how to do something their team has responded right away about
In Churchteams everything is a group. Small groups, skills, interests, special events, email lists with restricted members, etc. All of them are groups. It would be nice to have another way to categorize people, such as a tag or an email list that people couldn't join themselves for our prayer team or something similar. This is both the greatest strength and the biggest weakness of Churcteams. It has taken a lot of adjustment time for my staff to understand that EVERYTHING is a group.
We used to have to use multiple databases. One for event registration, one for sending group emails, one for a directory, and one for our main database with giving details and notes. Churchteams has combined all of that into one database, and it is much easier for our staff than any other databases we were using.
Church software for pastors created by pastors. ChurchTeams is an ever-expanding system that offers robust options for a very fair price.
While they are working on it, there is room for improvement in reports. They are working on the user interface. For me, it is not an issue, but for some users, it creates a barrier.
Take advantage of the free trial and see for yourself. High quality with excellence at an affordable price.
We use ChurchTeams for data, administration, children's check-in, group rosters and care lists, online giving platform, contribution management and records and registrations. Fulfills many tasks in one package.
Easy to use and master. Also, I use it on my phone
On the pull-down search, "...click here for more... "changes location on the second screen.
I worked on another database for over 18 months and never really got it running, but when I moved to Church Teams, I was up and running in 10 days. I love the system so much that I am still the administrator of the system.
We track everything in Church Teams; attendance, progress, giving.
We chose ChurchTeams due to their reputation for Customer Support. They have a feedback-rich environment and are regularly making improvements to the database based on customer experience. CT is Christ-focused and people-focused. They view data as a tool for growing God's kingdom. They are continually seeking to improve the system to meet church needs and are very responsive to the client experience. I also like that I can access CT from anywhere, even my phone.
Because CT is constantly improving, there are regular updates. For someone like me, who doesn't like change, I have to challenge myself to learn the new features. Ultimately these changes make processes more efficient.
A few personal examples: I was having trouble finding church members who go by nicknames. (PJ = Philip) After providing feedback, CT added a "legal first name" field and coded the search tool to check both the "first name field" and the "legal first name" field. This improvement made my work a lot easier. The mass update feature has helped make data changes more efficient. CT has also provided best practices to us so we could establish church-wide protocols on how we handle data. For example, what do you do in the database when someone passes away? Not long after our inquiry, CT made coding changes that would trigger data changes (if desired) to make this data process happen automatically.
As a user of Churchteams, I like the software's simplicity and efficiency. Our church, small group, and worship team have greatly benefited from the organization of the volunteer system. The customer service is fantastic and personable.
I have not found anything in Churchteams that doesn't work for our church.
The organization of volunteers, even for the smallest church like us, is always challenging! However, Churchteams has proven beneficial to streamline our childcare workers and our worship team members. It provides users and members to have proper communication and confidently know when they are supposed to volunteer.
It allows us quick and easy response from the congregation
It can be confusing telling the congregation how to make changes to their information.
It allows us to encourage participation in church sponsored events.
Financial reporting is very useful. Event registration has also been great.
It takes time to learn your way around the program.
Creating a place for all of my data.
Simplicity. We are a small church and we often have people cycle through who need access to some part of the church management software. I have never had to train anyone, it is that simple and intuitive.
The simple looking GUI isn't going to impress anyone. But it works and I love it!
Management of church giving reports. Everything is just so easy.
How user friendly the system is, and the communication features! Being able to mass text and email easily is very important for a mobile church with ever changing locations and needs!
I wish the scheduling piece was not quite so linked to groups- ie you could add anyone in the system to the schedule without having to place them in a specific group first
They continuously update their texting features which has been very helpful to our church! Keeping everyone connected is an important part to growing a new church so we appreciate that! The tier pricing is also nice so that churches trying to grow can save some $

The thing I like the most about church teams is that it is web-based making it accessible from anywhere, it is easy to use, and there is quick access to help if you need it.
Would love some sort of app. Using it on a mobile browser is a bit clunky, but doable.
If you are looking for an intuitive web-based church management system look no further. We've been using Church Teams for 10 years and would never consider anything else.
ChurchTeams puts almost all our data in one place- member database, online giving, sign-ups for events, groups, and classes. It makes it easy to run reports and figure out where our folks are finding community.
