All of CHEQROOM's staff are amazing, this is one of the main reasons I chose CHEQROOM out of the many companies out there. They spoke to me as a person, not just someone behind a computer screen.
The staff understand what you need, and try everything they can to tailor the product to you and your needs. I am now on first-name terms with a lot of the staff, and even sent Christmas cards. HOW NICE IS THAT??
Their office is in another country so I cant visit them to say thanks very easily.
Seriously though, there is nothing to dislike. They have thought of everything.
By all means, check the other companies, but you won't find a better-dedicated team than the CHEQRROM staff. They are kind, considerate and great listeners. I think now if you mention CHEQROOM to other companies, they shudder! As they know, they will never be as good as the mighty CHEQRROM.
The company I work for needs to keep track of calibrations for our equipment. They are trying to sort an add-on for us to be able to keep tighter control on the calibration schedules.
We like the ability to put all items in one space and break them out via categories. We also like the ability to scan items in/out.
We want to integrate with a work calendar system.
We are more organized as a whole and our educators can schedule items at their convenience.
Cheqroom is extremely user-friendly. This is my first time working with inventory management and it was a breeze to learn everything!

I liked that Aaron and Naiara addressed all the issues I had. They were communicative and very good about being thorough and going each step carefully. It’s been a VERY long time since I have received customer service to this high of a standard. The fact that I didn’t have to ask for a video or a helpful step by step guide speaks volumes to that CHEQROOM really cares about their customers and ensuring the best possible solution! Inventory tracking
CHEQROOM is not only one of the most visually appealing, cloud-based asset tracking service, but one of the most customizable ones in my experience. I've worked with some of the most expensive asset tracking software for video production gear such as WebCheckOut, but Cheqroom was the perfect fit for my in-house production team. More importantly, the customer support is what got me to stay. At first, I was worried as a US client that the time change would be a big hurtle - but they proved me wrong. I greatly appreciate their flexibility and accessibility, specifically Mathilde Vanden Berghe. They have the resources to equip any company, whether big or small.
CHEQROOM is highly customizable and easy to use, however, there are certain features not available. For starters, it's important to note that every businesses' needs vary and CHEQROOM is trying to reconcile that. For me personally, I would like CHEQROOM to implement more automated features specifically when it comes to the value of equipment gear. For example, if I take the time to fill in the equipment item's purchase cost, or rental cost - and then make a reservation - I would like there to be a line in the reservation that summarizes the net worth of the reservation., but also provides an itemized breakdown. EI: Sony FX7 $350 , Fujinon Lens $150, total: $500
As the equipment manager and production specialist at my job, I need to oversee our assets and where they go. During this pandemic, many of my coworkers are working remotely which means they don't know the latest on what's going on with the gear inventory - new purchases, reservations, production shoots, but CHEQROOM assists with bringing everyone on board.
It's an easy cloud-based system where I can create as many users as needed to manage our rental equipment across two warehouses. It's very easy to use and does everything we need.
Although it does just about everything we "really" need, there are a lot of little "would be nice" things that it doesn't have. They have been improving a lot so they are working on it.
Being able to accurately manage over 300 pieces of equipment, enter reservations weeks or months in advance and always know for sure what we have in stock, what is checked out, what has a reservation, and what equipment is in custody (long-term hold)
It is easy to use and implement. Because of the mobile application, it is impossible to lose the assets. The program uploads the location of the last scan, which is very useful.
Well, if you are a PR agency, the basics of the system is good for you. But if you need more, and more logical functions, they are absolutely not friendly. Moreover, because we can tell them the development directions, frankly speaking, I won't give my knowledge for free. Even if I need these changes. But they have to understand, this is a win-win situation. If I tell them for free, I can develop a system like CR...
And, they ARCHIVE products on yearly base! I won't archive anything. I need my products available, when I need it. Please do not decide to archive anything!!! If I need it, I'll let you know.
Deeper access right management, customizable XLS reporting tool
Better demo asset management, easy reporting and like in a webshop, the registered users can book the assets themselves. Which means we do not have to send out e-mails about the available products.
Easy to use the system, there are good functions, good that we can give more features and customize it (like flags, place to collect reviews).
Its not so easy to use the phone application with Apple device.
The tractability is very important for our company, we need to know where are the demo units - who has them, since how long-, good that we can check every details of the check-outs, and also to see the overdue separately, its make easier our job.

The platform is easy to use, very user friendly. It has options to track and report on items, as well as scan the items with your phone to check out anything that is in the inventory. It supports different site locations and locations per item. Our students, that never used it before, are very pleased with getting equipment checked out via scans without problem and with visible timing from and until that could go via time or date.
Cheqroom has the ability to archive users with their history of use, which is essential for our historical reporting. Our management is comfortable with reports on personal checkouts that can be visible to admins and we definitely recommend it for daily inventory or equipment (like fleet cars/planter, iPads/tablets or labtech/microscopes) that need to be counted for by the minute and accounted for by the person who used it. Cheqroom also is very affordable for the service they provide compared to some similar companies. They also provide their quotes with full description of the services available and are quite helpful with estimating what best works specifically for your company meeds. Our communication with the reps of this company and their tech support has been very smooth. We like the app and definitely recommend it to the community.
Bayer CropScience Inc has been using Cheqroom since 2017, and we never had any major issues with it, except technical difficulties which were looked at and resolved by their tech support.

We had a long term battle on handling equipment and getting its current status, who uses it and if it needs repairs and needs to be locked out from use. Cheqroom has supplied us with the ability to track our daily use and equipment status, as well as user location per time frame.
