What do you like best about Checksub?

Editable soundtracks. Doesnt translate the background music

What do you dislike about Checksub?

It can be difficult to use if you are not used to creator economy tools. Also its easy to accidentally pay if you dont cancel your free trial>

What problems is Checksub solving and how is that benefiting you?

We need to increase the number of total views, subscribers, and community engagement - in a perfect world cost effectively means quickly, high quality, and cheap.

Checksub almost takes us there. Its just about 5K and my translation team as well as my video teams can use it together. It saves a lot of time.. after getting everyones buy in.

Actually...nothing to dislike - I use Checksub now for the second year and it's a great tool for me

I haven't had any problems untill now.

Only a few login problems but that was a problem on our side.

"The BEST video subtitles & translations tool on the market."

What do you like best about Checksub?

A well thought through user interface that makes it easy to edit and revise subtitles . Excellent for working collaboratively with the ability to seamlessly share videos with proofreaders to get fast approvals. Great for dealing with large quantities of videos - I was able to translate 60 videos at lightening speed. It took me less than 1 day when in the past it would have taken over a week! Customer support is also excellent! The team at Checksub work hard to deliver a superior user experience.

What do you dislike about Checksub?

Could use a few more manual features to add elements but that's easily solved by importing assets creating in a programme such as premiere pro.

What problems is Checksub solving and how is that benefiting you?

Deliver mass quanities of videos in need of translations and subtitles, at lightening speed.

I like checksub very much

I like checksub very much, the reason I don't give it 5 stars are below:

- the editing process could be optmizied, for example there is a Find & Replace function but not a "Find" only option. You can't search for a specific word in the subtitles and jump to that location

- you can't manually enter the number of a subtitle line to jump to, only scroll up and down to find it

- equally, you can't manually enter a timestamp, you can only scroll back and forth on the timeline

- you can't highlight multiple subtitles and apply a custom design or remove a design, this can only be done individually

- you can't copy and paste subtitles from one location on the timeline to another

- generally, I find the text editing a bit clunky

- a handful of other minor issues (that I won't list in more detail)

Having said that I give it 4 stars because I'm very happy with everything else. I can't really comment on the speech recognition because I don't have a lot of experience with it. I've not seen examples of extremely good and extremely bad speech recognition so can't really compare. The text it generated did have a few gaps and errors but overall it was ok I think (I used Spanish).

Checksub support has been absolutely amazing, they have replied back super quickly to any query / problem I've had and even offered a screensharing session to explain some features to me. Can't recommend their service highly enough.

What do you like best about Checksub?

Intuitive tool to generate and adjust subtitles for videos.

Many languages are available.

Easy to use and very time-efficient.

What do you dislike about Checksub?

Transcripts are not always accurate. I only use the English option so I cannot say about other language accuracy.

What problems is Checksub solving and how is that benefiting you?

It saves me a lot of time when I need to generate subtitles or even translate subtitles for videos.
