It allows me to track time and expenses automatically upon project completion.

Managing and tracking projects.
Issue, expense and time tracking on projects.
Project Management tool that both my project managers can use as well as my Product Owners.
The inability to tie between Barometer and PPM
Dashboard reporting, transparency and visibility into project health
Sessions were across the board and not focused on one area over another.
At times, navigating the conference site could be confusing. I would recommend making it in person next round.
We are having issues with Resource Management, and there were a few break-outs that covered this topic that may be beneficial.
What I like best about Daptiv is the Admin and User configurability. By this, I mean the ability for an Administrator to configure global settings while also allowing some user configurability in terms of how data is viewed and used. One of the best aspects of configurability is the Dynamic Applications - being able to create an application for a specific purpose to support one of our processes is huge - we use a couple of Daptiv native apps but have developed 10 others we use on every project. I also love the ability to create Reports that can be used in a user's Dashboard that only presents the Projects they manage.
The least helpful feature of Daptiv is how Programs are managed. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to see how the changes in Child Projects impact the Program to which they belong as well as how those changes impact (or could impact) other Child Projects. Using the native workflow engine it is conceivable that thresholds could be set at the Program level whereby when a Project change causes a change in the Program, or other Child Project, an approval process could be kicked off which would prevent the change in the Child Project until it is approved by the Program Manager (or their designee(s)). Having the ability to enable/ disable approval requirements would also be desirable.
Look for a PPM tool that supports your existing methodology rather than allowing the PPM tool to force undesirable changes in your process(es). We selected Daptiv as it fully supports our execution methodology and provides features which allows us to grow in our maturity as a Project Management Organization.
The problems we are solving are; 1) better and more consistent tracking of IT Projects, 2) creating transparency of Project status/ health to management in both real-time and via reports, 3) providing Project Managers with information across the multiple projects they are managing simultaneously (they manage between 6 and 15 projects at any one time), and 4) ability to provide status to stakeholders more consistently and accurately. The benefits we've realized are; 1) Executing projects using fewer hours, 2) Much easier to locate previous project information, and 3) provides a consistent form/ format to the business regardless of which Project Manager is leading the work or the region (North America, South America, EMEA, Asia Pacific) in which they reside.
Flexibility is a good word to describe Daptiv PPM. No coding needed, you can tailor the solution to specific business needs and upgrade seamlessly to new Daptiv PPM releases automatically. Dashboards and reports are fully integrated. Capacity planning works very well and the specific that I like is that you can actually pull resource requirements from the schedule.
Integration with MS Project can be problematic if you like to use all MS Project functionality that might not be available on Daptiv.
You can create new entry forms (dynamic Apps) but more functionally currently not available could make the product more useful.
If possible have one person make decisions on the configuration. Keep It Simple. Allow time for users to adapt to the solution.
All our projects ara managed in Daptiv. Over 40 projects per year and that includes task, document, planning, financial planning, etc.

What I find most valuable about the tool is how easy it is to customize. Dynamic applications are easy to create and implement.
The resource management aspects of Changepoint PPM are not user-friendly, especially with a large organization.
With ChangePoint PPM we have been able to provide performance transparency across all 10 of our businesses related to product development and engineering activities.
