It has a lot functionality and is relatively easy to use
Cumbersome to get between areas of the chart
Intergration with labs and some some other diagnostic facilities helps track results
The build of the system is very tailored to what you need and it's fairly easy to use once you have it built out. The security considerations are also good- you can align users with different securities very easily and it's easy to change
It's not the most up to date system. It lacks sophistication in its data integration capabilities and it's data/med record pull in. The support team for build out was sub par at best
It's a standard EHR system that is built out to a company's needs. It allowed the practice to achieve things an even older EHR couldn't achieve in terms of creating lists, manaing patients, etc.
It's a great program for record keeping. I can record everything from patient symptoms to insurance billing records. It's easy to make appointments in several different categories.
There should be a place for notes for each patient. That way, if John Doe calls, for example, I could read a little note about what's going on with him from the last person that talked to him. Also, this program is quite overwhelming for new hires. It takes them a long time to learn the system. I wish it was more streamlined. A tutorial video should come with software like this.
Be ready to do lots of training for your staff on how to use this system.
It frequently crashes. Sometimes work is not actually saved, even if you click the save button.
Easy to navigate tab interface for the Clinical Notes, Common Problem Palette feature consistently saves me time.
Slow technical support responses, seems like for every hotfixed bug, two more pop up.
Talk to other customers about their experiences using it and see if it fits your needs.
Nursing staff has a place to chart progress notes, built in RCM is useful.
It is a great, software to have for a private practice. It is efficient and gets the job done.
It shows active eligibility for a patient on their appointment and if their not active as well.
The eligibility is not always up to date. There are multiple problems regarding the billing of the program.
Running a medical practice. All the patients information is stored in the system, the eligibility is shown, the Follow up for procedure is a great feature that is in the system as well.
As an entry level practice manager, I found it easy to navigate and learn. This was the first PM solution I was introduced to as a biller/coder.
At the time, I didn't realize it wasn't as robust as larger EMR solutions.
I think it's appropriate for small practices and venues.
The organization of information is easy to access as you learn to use the system.
There is a longer than average learning curve for this EHR because it isn't the most user friendly setup.
Give it time to learn the system and spend plenty of time training all the staff.
Organization of records, tracking patients course of medical care.
I like the easy access to demographics, billing information, and health records all in one.
The messaging feature is terrible for trying to follow through with communication among staff. It is not a user friendly platform and requires extensive training.
I would consider looking into other EHRs prior to settling on this one. There is a long learning curve
The benefits of Aprima are that it is an EHR and keeps everything tightly organized in a file for easy access when needed. The notes are easy to follow as well.
It does the basics of what it needs to do.
Aprima charges for every little thing. When my company started researching other companies, we realized we have been cheated for years with features to make our lives easier. When we starting inquiring about why we didn’t have certain features, we were told that we could add features for additional cost. We were already paying $700+ per month.
We have record of our patients. Nothing more beneficial than the bare minimum.

Aprima software is super easy to use, especially for solo practitioners. You can even customize it to fit your needs. CGM Aprima actually listens to its customers which is amazing. And the best part? They're always working on making their product better for us! appreciated 👍 again I would give them appreciation for their customer support.
Now, here's a little feedback for improvement. It'd be great if they could make the interface a bit more friendly. Oh, and graphical charts would be awesome! They make things faster and ease to integrate.
CGM Aprima is solving problems related to medical record, medical billing as well as keeping and patient management for me. It helps us to keep track of patient information, appointments, and medical histories more easily.
