Based on my exploration so far, this platform has a way of enabling us to brutally focus on the matter at hand without getting carried away with by the functionality of the tool itself hence giving us a zen like experience.

It is extremely rich in features and integration appears well sorted out

Honestly there appears to a somewhat steep learning curve where we need to spend some time getting our hands dirty before we make it a muscle memory.

This is the only downside Ive experienced so far other than that its very cool.

This software is good, but not the best out there. It was easy enough to learn and to train junior team members to use. I especially liked to sales reps and found them to be very quick to respond and helpful when it came to questions and ways to use the system more efficiently.

Flow of information was very flawless and I was also able to manage people processes and different department systems on one interface

Understanding of the solution was very complicated initially

We have datasets stores in different formats and even softwares in various business units.

It was very difficult to get all snapshot at once earlier and this main challenge plus track of tasks and activity is keeping all teams intact

User friendly and workflows are fluidic.

The product differentiation and user guides can be improved

It helps me with the sprint planning and effective prioritisation

It enhances overall usability of softwares and the interactive abilities are very good, provides good amount of options when looking for consumer goods.

Maybe the recommendations based on previous preferences by the user can be made better and accurate.

Centric is more reliable than other PLM software I have used in my career, like TC and Vault. TC customized versions usually have a tonne of errors and each project requires assistance from our configuration manager at least twice. Centric was a bit more reliable and the process was smooth once I got the hang of it. Implementing changes to product which is already released can be done with relative ease.

I am not aware of the customer support side since our US counterpart takes care of it. I use the software less frequently since we have not completely moved to Centric. The company is still deciding whether to move completely to centric from our existing PLM.

Integration with design software seems a bit problematic. Also, certain features that were pretty handy in the current PLM are not available. For example, a predictive system for finding the reviewers for a project would be a good addition. It is tough to decide whether Centric would be worth the effort to change our entire project management process, taking into consideration the amount of training and migration that it would require. I have given my feedback on a positive note, but higher management is still in the decision phase.

Already wrote this in the last page. Certain features like review and sign-off could be a bit better. Also, integration with design software could be better,
