Speed

The platform itself is easy to use and get the feel for. This was my first screenwriting software and I don’t honestly see a need to explore other options. It’s easy, gets the job done, and syncs all my work online so I don’t have to worry about losing any of my work.

There’s not much to dislike about it honestly.

The layout. Is very simple, very specific and the navigating is self explanatory which I love! I've had Celtx for years now and it's a great software for my writing.

Sometimes there are tech issues. I thought I lost one of my drafts because the system didn't update on my end. I spoke to tech, and they were really helpful and I was able to recover my draft, however I panic at the moment cause I had put hours of work into that draft. Also, when importing a script that's on PDF, I would like it if it could be imported in Celtx script format. I have imported scripts that were worked on Celtx, exported on PDF and when imported again to Celtx the format goes off and I have to rearrange dialogues, characters, and everything manually, one by one. It will be great if the system can read the format and import in such.

Is a simplistic software to manuever. I am able to keep all of my scripts there and work on them in a simple way. I think of course there's room for improvement but Celtx has helped me tremendously.

Celtx is a professional writing software that allows you to create and develop your stories in an easy way, helping you and guiding you through the different areas for creating story while also doing the pre-production of it.

The downside is that you the free version doesn't allow you to write more than two stories and to try just a few of the other options, so you have to pay to be able to actually use its full potential.

Celtx allows me to not only write my story but also developed it all in the same place, helping me with tasks from the pre-poduction and making it easier and faster

Es un poco complicada la forma en la que te muestra los personajes en un listado con la referencia de las escenas. Si quiero tener un resumen de qué personajes están en cada escena e imprimirlo se hace de una forma sencilla

I needed a screenwriting program that wasn't pricey.

Celtx makes script writing fairly intuitive with the ability to list your character names, select actions and generally format a proper film script. There is very little that this program cannot do to help a budding writer get their first script off the ground. Also, it allows you to test the software for free before purchase.

The price per month makes this a bit of an expensive solution. Though fairly reasonably priced for the solution overall if you are already running a business in this area, for someone who is just starting in film production, having extra costs monthly may prove a bit difficult.

Celtx helped with organizing and formatting a proper film script when I was in the process of writing one a while back.
