Cello was simple to implement and we're ready to go live within 48 hours. In combination with the fast development pace on Cello side and uncomplicated updates we're able to constantly improve our referral system. I really enjoy the pro-active communication with the Cello team!
The only feature I'm missing right now is to define individual percentages per user.
Cello replaces our in-hose referral system with manual payouts and simplifies tax, accounting and reporting challenges.
We now have an easier way to track referrals, which used to be a tedious and manual process. Setting it up is simple, and we only start paying for Cello when we generate a decent amount of referrals. What we particularly like is their latest feature: the ability to set up multiple campaigns and behavior-based triggers. This really helps us leverage referrals through our power users.
We look forward to Cello supporting more payout options, including those for Asian customers. In-product rewards are also a good alternative.
Our user base is growing quickly and we were looking for a word-of-mouth (WoM) tool to amplify this growth. Blockchain technologies are built on trust, and so is the peer-to-peer (p2p) widget from Cello. It makes WoM more visible and accessible.
I've tested cello. It's not only very easy to use, but you feel like when working with Cello, you're dealing with real B2B growth experts. From the smart recurring rewards system to incentivize individuals to their G2M strategy and continuous experiments to get the most of your referral program.
It's not fully self-serve yet, which requires some developer cap (1-2 days), so we postponed the integration to next quarter
I've tested a few referral programs, but nothing is as easy to use as Cello. Even if you're dealing with larger companies, you need a partner that's fully compliant. Cello takes data privacy and compliance with GDPR very seriously and even informs its users how to handle revenue generated through referrals.
We particularly liked the flexible integration and customization options. With both in-menu and floating action button options, you can decide where you want to locate Cello in your tool. You can also choose between modal or a standard icon pop-up. Additionally, the support from the dev and product team is top-notch. Any questions or issues are handled swiftly and efficiently, and the Generic Event API works flawlessly for our report automation.
Since we are using the Generic Event API, we are looking forward for idemoptence support for API calls.
Word-of-mouth is strong in the field of sports clubs. For the first time, we can take advantage of the large user base we have and spread the word. Key priority for us: our users need to have a straightforward experience, it should be self-explanatory. Cello has achieved that.
The core features of Cello are deeply integrated into ours, this makes its capabilities appear to be a natural extension of our product. We're already seeing how it could lead to more sustainable growth by ensuring that, early on, the LTV of a customer exceeds the cost to acquire them.
It can be challenging to customise or modify the widget.
Lowering our CAC has allowed us to efficiently and effectively bring on new customers without having to spend a lot of resources. We can, therefore, reinvest them into other areas of the business.
We loved how straightforward it was to implement and use Cello. For our users, all they have to do is open the referral widget from our web app, and share the link through social media or with their colleagues. From there, the rewards follow. Very simple to use for all parties involved.
It would be great if the payout options could be diversified. Having more choices for rewards would make the programme even more appealing to our users.

It's a great (additional) source of sales/marketing drivers. Help us to generate additional business from users who like our product (advocats). If you are thinking this year what to add to help you out with getting extra leads - this is a no-brainer. Easy to implement into your existing product + can get you really big clients on board.
Maybe mobile app? Or more analytics? Not sure - It's good, but I believe in future will be even better :).

I had the chance to test Cello.so and liked it a lot. The intelligent recurring reward model that engages users every month is effective and the ease of being paid via PayPal or Venmo is a real bonus. The team behind Cello has done a fantastic job in creating the first component of a user-led growth platform that is both intuitive and user-friendly. I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a reliable platform for tracking referrals and rewards.
Unfortunately, mobile support is still not available. However, it would be beneficial to reach a larger target audience. But I understood that the Cello-Team already works on a mobile API.
