CDK is my absolute favorite DMS to work on. I have worked on others and none are as easy to use as CDK. CDK allows you to dial into any account you are looking out, so you dont have to go to multiple screens, you can see where the data came from, just by double clicking on an account or amount.

Financial reporting is also very nice to use, you can double click any account to see what accounts all belong in that line, as you know, there are a lot more accounts then lines on the financial, so you can have multiple accounts in one, and to get the accurate details

Accounting is a great tool for CDK, I have been told by finance that CDK is not the easiest to use on the front end.

All business accounting needs. We can download all of the end of the month reports for future use, this also helps save on paper, since we no longer have to print

CDK provides just about anything you can think of for our service department. Whatever we do not have, CDK offers that as well. Whatever your dealership needs, you can find it with CDK.

The only real downside is any add-on will cost money. Nothing is really able to be added without a charge being involved. CDK is the best product I have found, so the money is worth it.

We don't really have any problems. We have been been using CDK since long before I joined the team 5 years ago. I came in and with CDK, I haven't been able to identify any problems that we currently have.

Super easy to navigate, and easy to find answers to questions through built in database when needed, super easy to learn if you're used to command code style dms systems!

System goes down regularly once or twice a month for 15-20 minutes. Could use a touch up aesthetically.

Works really great for our business. We came from dealertrack and CDK has been a godsend for those of us who deal with accounting and numbers and was very easy to learn and teach

I can run several reports relevant to my position, customer service is pretty accessible if I have any user issues, the service is very stable, and the user interface is very nice as well.

It is very cumbersome to cut and process POs. It takes several seconds for the screen to load, which can be time-consuming when cutting purchase orders in bulk.

CDK has several reports and functions that allow me to track and regulate our parts inventory. It is also very helpful for tracking open special orders, repair orders, and parts tickets.

I like that it is very easy to clock in and out of CDK, and seeing your time clock for this week or the weeks before and after is made available too. On the payroll side, CDK is great.

I dislike how finicky it can be. for example, when taking a payment and making a receipt on CDK it is extremely difficult to go back. Control + 6 does not always work. It's also hard to exit a tab without shutting everything down.

We used to manually write down our hours on a piece of paper and it would be sent to payroll. Now we can do it through CDK. I also like that if you clock out for example 7 minutes before 5pm, it will clock you out at 5pm.

CDK Drive constantly pushes updates out which shows they are working to constantly improve the user experience.

To use additional features, there's always an additional fee. However, it is worth it most of the time.

I've used multiple data systems similar to CDK and CDK Drive is the most user friendly. Reynolds and DealerTrack seem to lack reporting functions that CDK has and ease of converting to pdf/excel versions of the reports.

It is easily to use and gives exact outcomes. It helps greatly in automobile dealership activities. It helps to change from one assignment another without interruptions. In terms of performing various tasks, it is awesome and makes it simple to move from one worksheet to another. It assists with checking all dealership activities. It prevents stealing. Assists in inventory and monitoring income generated. It produces all dealership required reports for examination,and so on

The cost of using it is pretty high. Any form modifications that you need to make must be paid for. Only dealerships with huge capital can afford to use it.

It cannot be use remotely without vpn.

It help for warranty claiming, customer invoicing, workshop resource management, spare parts management, sales management, reports generation, inventroy, financial management, booking customer and Customer relations management.

it works properly for what we need and rarely crashes or operates slowly.

There is a lot I dislike about CDK drive and now that there are more approved vendors with our manufacturer I am looking to possibly move away from cdk. I dislike the prices they charge. The convoluted invoices with little explanation of what they are for. I dislike the proprietary printers that cost 10 times what a normal printer costs and the fact you have to buy paper from them at a large premium. I dislike how there is no representative to talk to, and the program needs an update. Also I need to purchase another program that aggregates data from CDK to generate web based financial reports. I don't know why CDK cannot do that in a simple way.

Accounting, invoices, financial statements, parts inventorying. All transactions in the dealership go through CDK. It is a necessary program

Expensive monthly bill and a little tough to get customer support
