The LTSE team was outstanding. They made switching seamless and now we have a good foundation on the LTSE Equity platform. The value of the product is outstanding.
It is always daunting switching from one platform to another. So integrating all stakeholders and making sure all details are correct can be challenging. We were able to switch with only a few minor hiccups.
We wanted a simple and clean way to manage our shareholders. LTSE Equity offers exactly what we need at the right price.
The clarity and simplicity of the system.
I haven't found one thing that I dislike just yet. It's a very user friendly system.
Providing a much better explanation and timeline of my company's shares
Helpful, responsive team. They made it easy to transfer our service to LTSE.
Their subscriptions include features we don't use, so a more a la carte option would be welcome. But that's a minor quibble.
Efficient hosting of our cap table.
LTSE Equity bundles cap table management with basic compliance like the annual 409A valuation so that my equity management needs are all met in one solution. It is cost effective and I like having the hands-on service support of an account manager and customer success team for questions when they come up. It feels much more personal than other tools where you log a ticket and wait for someone to get back.
I like the new look-and-feel updates they are rolling out, and look forward to seeing more of this hit the product.
It helps me keep track of and issue equity grants as well as stay up to date on my 409A valuation in one place.
What I like best about LTSE is their customer service. They are happy to get on a phone and work through any issues. Poor CS is why we left Carta.
It's too early to tell as we are still getting it aligned with our pro forma cap table
LTSE is solving the problem of having Cap Tables that are not centralized. We were getting lost with excel spreadsheets on different laptops not all synched.
LTSE handles the basics of stock management and employee grant issuance. These are critical products for every CEO/founder. I compared LTSE with Carta and I found that for our Seed stage startup, LTSE was nearly 1/3 cheaper, with nearly identical features. I would pick LTSE over Carta again and again.
LTSE's interface is a more outdated than their competitors. Certain tasks were very manual like entering investors' information. When one thing was wrong, I had to restart from the beginning. I saved over $1,000 from the competitor, so was it worth it-- absolutely.
Stock cap table management for my startup is critical for handling outside money. Without a tool, we would be tracking this on Excel spreadsheets that are painful and annoying.
Fast response time; thoughtful replies from real people
Nothing in particular comes to mind honestly
We're not actively working with them at this moment
Onboarding was super helpful. The program seems very easy to use.
No specific dislikes of the program. Still in implementation phase though.
Tracking of employee stock options in one place. Keeping track of changes to the cap table and having somewhere to store all necessary documents.
LTSE is easy to use and understand. I love the cap table modeling function; it has helped us plan future capital raises.
In the earlier days, I wish LTSE was more compatible with Partnership/LLC structures. We were not able to correctly record profit interest units.
LTSE is solving the time commitment issues for our team. It would take us double the time to do our cap table in excel.

The customer support team is incredible! We have 20+ stakeholders on our captable with a lot of different terms.
The support team took the documents and in a few days we woke up with a fully populated captable.
This is simply magical. They were extremely patient and helped us figure out all the relevant details and where to get them from.
Not to mention that the bulk import features make it super easy to add multiple advisors or employees.
There are pretty good start up deals as well.
Finally, you can do the 409A Valuation straight from the platform.
So far we are quite happy with LTSE Equity.
Captable management - the problem is that I need to be able to issue and grant stock options for our investors, employees, and advisors.
LTSE Equity gives us a place where all of our shareholders can track their ownership.
