The user interface is very intuitive. When we have questions they are quick to respond. The tutorials for managing different aspects of the CMS are top-notch, so are the newsletters.
We had a very pleasent integration. Our entire marketing team has adopted it well and features like portals have made our lives easier!
I wish the descriptions were searchable and that I could do a screen grab of an image with the snipping tool without another window popping up in front of it.

I love the ease of use and the variety of ways to find and organize assets. I use Canto daily for a variety of reasons. I am enjoying the linking feature for related assets. This feature has been a big help when I need to quickly access assets without searching for them each time I need them. Canto's customer support has also been helpful. My questions are usually answered in 24 to 48 hours.
I look forward to Canto adding features to their upload and share links. It would be helpful to have a way to organize these links so that they are easier to find as the lists increase in number of links.
Canto is solving the problem of assets being hard to find in drives. Canto has also been helpful with creating relationships between assets.
It keeps our company files organized neatly and easily searchable for our franchisees. It was an easy rollout and our franchisees who utilize Canto generally seem to enjoy it. If we ever have issues, we tend to get a quick response from the support team.
It's not always the most intuitive when it comes to making changes to our portals.
We previously housed all of our marketing assets on our franchise management software, which was not user friendly. Our FMS was difficult to search, and assets could only be viewed after download. These problems don't exist within Canto which is easy to organize, search, and view.

Going on close to four years, my team and I are able to organize our digital assets way more effiiently knowing our content is secure, orderly and easy to find has made a HUGE difference in how we manage our digital files. Also, knowing Canto developers are staying up to date with technology advancements and informing clients of any updates and integrations is vital to providing clients with the ongoing improved user experiences.
Lastly, Canto's Customer Support is super accommodating, professional and flexible. They're here for you. It's very comforting to know there are folks available to provide continued support.
In the close to four years, I have yet to expeience any downsides or dislikes of the tool. I've always been able to receive assistance if there were any questions/issues. The tool continues to evolve with time/technology.
Canto makes it easy for a team of well over 1,000 employees to search, find, store, organize, share, edit digital files on an ongoing basis. As a team we're able to remain relevant with managing our digital files using intgrations and methods of sharing content interntally and externally which is a major benefit for my colleagues at the university.
Custom fields help tailor the platform for what we search for most. Searching through the metadata is so simple and saves so much time.
Implementing Canto when you have a large library is tedious. Adding the metadata to all content is time consuming but worth it.
Prior to Canto we utilizes SharePoint for our asset management and it was difficult to file content and search for it later. Lots of content was getting lost and Canto makes it much easier to search for content and keep it organized.

It's so easy to share specific photos with people with links, and the integration into Canva has been really helpful as well.
Tagging photos can be tedious, and sometimes a tag is missed. If Canto could just recognize elements in a photo and use those as tags, that would be great.
Instead of having my team have to sift through our photo library for a client, I can let them find what they need on their own.
