It's a bit of a learning curve and I am thankful that these guys have amazing detailed tutorials. Having said that, once I got the basics under my belt I can see myself being a returning customer. There's a lot you can do in terms of multistreaming with Callaba, literally anywhere with any protocol, but I'm a simple man and I only stream to social accounts. So far very happy, I stream not very often and I don't want to pay a monthly subscription like with other services.
OK, so I've been using Callaba for live event production gigs. I switched to Callaba from Haivision gateway because I had to record my live feeds and Callaba does it out of the box. And it's not expensive. I also like having a preview of my videos, I can make sure the stream quality is A-okay. For my specific tasks, Calaba is solid tool. I use it pretty often. The girl from the support helped me out and she asked if I could leave a review somewhere. So here it is. It's a good software for live streaming.
I like the ease of use of this software and how you send video 3000 viewers at the same time.
Good product with a hardware encoder and decoder support.
We had several minor problems with the service, but the support manager helped solve all the problems and now everything works fine.
We use Callaba Cloud for organize low latency video transport from a hardware encoder to decoder via SRT.
I find cloud streaming services very useful, as I don't have to think about my PC being overloaded with side-tasks like encoding and recording. I do the mixing, and I outsource the rest to the cloud to deal with. Callaba has all I need in one place, namely transcoding, recording and simulcasting.
This software does everything I need in one place : it streams, it transcodes, it records and it shows me the video that is coming. If you need an SRT gateway int he cloud for remote production, it is a good option to think about.
Pluses: A quick way to set up your streaming infrastructure for a specific event. Minuses: There are not enough preset settings so as not to waste time creating for example SRT servers, SRT players etc from scratch.
I can watch my srt streams in the browser with an unlimited number of viewers
Some I have used in the past only allow 1 other viewer
I found it very difficult to get help when we encountered problems
A must for anyone thinking of such a product
It can bring us all together even though we are many miles apart
An invaluable piece of software

Successfully streamed to 800 people and simultaneuosly tested their ppv feature. I like it, they don't charge a commission unlike other services. In fact, you only pay by the hour for the infrastructure, and all the funds collected remain yours.
