Everything integrates so well between modules.
Boomerangs take a while for a simple ???
Don't waste your time looking for another platform or management system. CadmiumCD is the only one that has all the tools or capabilities you could need.
Allows you to communicate and collect materials from speakers, create staff schedules, manage all logistics/AV/F&B needs and conduct surveys. It is very user friendly and the training manuals are excellent.
We've used Cadmium for several years, but this year, the best "feature" was the major overhaul in record time to accommodate virtual conferences. It was amazing how quickly they were able to implement an outstanding product and implement with their clients.
The best thing, speed of changes is also something that made it a challenge. With the rapid-fire changes to the program, it took significant resources to keep up with the changes. It was worth it when our conference was held in a flawless manner.
Basically, we would need additional staff if we didn't have CadmiumCD. It keeps all of the speaker management information in one place. Speakers like it because it is task-based so they know what they have to do and when it is due.
CadmiumCD is a one-stop-shop for collecting all of your event information. From the call for presentations, creating schedule and collecting speaker information to building your exhibit hall and designing website and mobile app, as well as awarding CE. Plus you can live stream content, provide spaces for attendee engagement and it's all integrated and simple to use! Their customer service is the best and they are always listening and integrating suggestions for improvements.
The only thing their system doesn't do that I wish it did was integrate registration!
I recommend looking to see if you can consolidate multiple products (submission and review tool, speaker management tool, mobile app, conference website, CE, etc.) into one product which would save time, headaches and hopefully money!
I love that everything is integrated so you make an edit to the schedule or correct a typo in a speaker name and the corrections carry through to the website, online schedule, mobile app, etc. It is a huge time saver. The virtual platform (eventscribe live) allows you to easily notify attendees of urgent messages, changes, alerts, etc.
The system is flexible and it empowers you to make all decisions in terms of branding and content. You can copy events and settings over from previous events, and mix and match modules to meet your needs. The pricing is very reasonable and the system is user-friendly for both admins and users.
At times, trouble-shooting can take longer than anticipated, particularly with APIs.
We switched to CadmiumCD three years ago and we have no regrets.
CadmiumCD allows us to manage multiple events simultaneously with ease - from speaker and exhibitor/sponsor management, to automatic updates to the event website and mobile app. It's flexible and scalable.
Cadmium makes what would normally be a complicated and mundane process insanely easy and fun. The admin side of this site is so user-friendly, and the front end is perfect for the speakers and attendees using it. I love all of the tutorial videos, the monthly webinars and help tips on each page. The interface is colorful and fun which is very pleasing to experience. When they recieve feedback they make changes to the system to make it more user friendly.
Sometimes the boomerang system can get frustrating. It is supposed to make communication with the product managers easier but the process can be cumbersome and sometimes the response time can be slow and I'd just rather send an email.
If you have an event with many moving parts - this event management system is a no brainer, it makes everything so easy for everyone involved. From the call for proposal process to the reviewing process to speaker on-boarding and speaker task management, to the survey harvester and mobile app, everything needed to make our event work starts and ends with Cadmium.
We hold a biannual international conference with a call for proposal process involving over 100 reviewers, we end up with 70-90 total speakers, and we award continuing education - Cadmium is the one stop shop for all of this, they make it so easy and saves us so much time while also allowing us more interaction with our speakers, vendors, and attendees.
I use so many different modules within CadmiumCd that it is hard to pick one. I suppose my favorite is the Education Harvester which allows me to both build my schedule and app as well as "harvest" speaker information. The process is really easy for both the admin side as well as the speaker side.
The boomerang system is a system that allows both the client as well as the Cadmium staff to keep track of projects and questions that need to be completed. As it currently stands, it's not my favorite part of working with them. I do know they are rolling out some upgrades to the system to make it easier and more user-friendly for the client.
This stand behind CadmiumCD's products as they have made our team work more efficiently and have simplified so many processes for us. This is one of the best products out there and meets our every need.

Exhibitor Harvester: manage our exhibit hall floor, manage payments, solicit logos and company info from exhibitors and sponsors
Eventscribe App: disseminate our course/session info to our attendees, sponsorship opportunities
Survey Magnet: post-conference surveys and CE certificate management and dissemination
Scorecard: allow our attendees to submit abstracts (posters), proposals for speaking at our smaller sessions at our annual meeting, speakers bureau proposals to then be scored/accepted/rejected
Eposters: instead of doing a printed poster hall, we now do all of our poster competition digitally

We started with one product for one event and now use most of the products across all of our events. Managing the information needed from speakers and for certification purposes is so much easier with Cadmium. We used to be so paper-driven and now we are much more streamlined and environmentally conscious. Also, we were able to create an additional registration revenue stream at our annual convention by offering a Premium Package that allowed attendees to listen to the content and earn credits for sessions they might not have been able to attend in person.
The best part of CadmiumCD, it's the people, the software and all the products are wonderful, but it's their amazing staff that make it them the best. CadmiumCD has found an innovative and user-friendly ways to make details more manageable. The technology is amazing, and the staff is beyond helpful, they work with you, always making sure you understand the process and how it works.
There is always one issue that always comes up, no matter who the vendor is, meeting timelines. However, CadmiumCD has grown extensively over the years and are continuing to add staff in an effort to make sure timelines are met and we as clients are satisfied.
Until we began using more of CadmiumCD's products, we had 4 different vendors that are doing what CadmiumCD does. It's a one stop shop for our conference proposal, reviews, scheduling, speaker management, itinerary planner, mobile app and so much more. Until we started working through the process, we hadn't realized just how much data was corrupted from downloading and uploading to and from vendors. With CadmiumCD, the data stays clean.
I love the Cadmium staff - they are helpful and consistent - very little turnover. I also like the help tips, the webinars, and that they make their clients feel important!
I don't really dislike anything - some things aren't always intuitive to figure out how to configure, but the staff helps you when you need it!

I can set up one event and have all the information I need flow from one product within Cadmium to another which ensures the information is accurate, the look and feel is the same and provides a better experience not only for my participants but staff as well. And, it's easy and intuitive to use!
