Cacoo is a game-changer for product managers because it's easy to use and implement. Its seamless visual collaboration, diverse diagramming options, and remote team capabilities enhance communication. The platform's integration features make it an indispensable tool for boosting team efficiency and project success. It's such a great tool that I've never even needed to use customer support yet, even though I'm sure it is amazing.
Perhaps the lack of diverse shapes for wireframing is a minor issue. Other than that, there isn't much to complain about.
Cacoo proves instrumental in addressing our company's remote teams flowchart and wireframe challenges. Its user-friendly interface and diverse diagramming options facilitate seamless creation, collaboration, and sharing. With real-time editing and remote team capabilities, Cacoo enhances our efficiency, ensuring clear communication and streamlined workflows.
The ability to customize the objects so that I can show different shapes/colors for different actions taking place.
I wish I could export my workflows into a cohesive spreadsheet that outlines each step.
I work remotely, so I can't write things on a whiteboard with different shapes and colors. Cacoo allows me to do that and to share my proposed workflows in a permanent way that won't get erased by the next meeting.
You can draw both architecture diagram and er diagram with one tool.
Everytime you generate er diagram from table definition, each table locates different places on screen and it takes some time for you to find tables.
Before I found Cacoo, I used diagram.io and google slides. You can draw architecture diagram with them. But I wanted a tool to generate an ER diagram from existing table definition of PostgreSQL and Cacoo can do it. So it was a big plus for me. In addition to that, Cacoo has built-in Azure Icons and that was really helpful when drawing architecture diagram.
I love that I'm able to create custom icons and workflow elements that fit my specific needs and even save my own reusable templates.
I also love that I'm able to share view-only links with clients that still allows them to add their own comments without worrying about them "messing things up."
I dislike the new "unlimited/borderless" sheets. While it's nice to have more room to spread things out, it becomes very difficult to find your place when you come back to a diagram because there's no anchor starting point. It also makes it more difficult to export documents in a viewable format for clients.
I needed an affordable yet customizable solution for mapping out automated workflows for my clients. I had previously created my own version of a custom workflow mapping tool in Microsoft Excel, but when I found Cacoo I realized just how much manual labor I had been putting into my projects on my own. Cacoo was 1000x better than Excel!

I have been using a variety of programs to create our business flowcharts and organisational charts for a number of years, but Cacoo is by far the sleekest, easiest and creates the most most professional charts of the lot.
There is only one minor drawback that I have come across so far, that some of the line options are a little finicky, and it would be useful to be able to connect one line end to another line start, so that a longer with more placeable shoulders could be created easily.
Cacoo allows me to make a large number of our organisational charts and diagrams in one place.
The best about Cacoo was the ease of implementation and integration. I liked that it is possible to fit the diagram of any size into one page!
In the beginning, it was challenging for me to deal with different line types, but after practising, I started to get better.
Cacoo helps to prepare visuals for my organization projects. These visuals are usually used to present our company's capabilities to the clients.
I like how the workspace seamlessly supports both diagrams and whiteboard functionality. The sharing and collaboration works really well and also supports video. I also enjoy that you can have multiple pages in one space.
I think the way text size is handled could be more automatic based on its hosting shape or box.
We're looking at a viable alternative to Lucid chart given how expensive the product is, Cacoo ticks many of the boxes as a viable solution
