More pros than cons that's for certain. Quoting alone has made my team way more effective. You can make adjustments, save them as templates, send them to customers, and check back to see who has accepted or who needs a call to follow up. We were spending SO MUCH time on quotes before and the new process saved the day.
Get the team on consensus when you choose new software. We made it a requirement but I realize now that we didn't talk it through enough. Made training probably more difficult than it should have been.

The survey and estimating app is great! And, it can work offline as well, for trying to survey in boiler rooms, building interiors, etc. Attach photos to the survey, and let everyone see what you saw when getting an approval to propose.
Nothing to dislike, they figured it out
I have been testing and using Sharkbyte for a number of months now, and as an HVAC service industry consultant, I have to say that this is one spectacular CRM. Without a doubt, this CRM will dramatically reduce the time it takes to generate proposals. And, the reporting for management is equally impressive. These folks obviously understand the industry, and how to improve efficiency.
It allows sales people to perform all the necessary tasks from cold calls through booking papers, all online and with no duplication of data. Particularly impressive is the survey/estimating app. This tool allows you to survey a facility for service, and estimates a maintenance agreement from that data instantly!
The team at BuildOps come with knowledge and great personalities. The follow up and support is great.
Overall there is nothing big on the dislike list, there are a few places that still require some work - Defaulting tax, vendor section could be better
The key factors that convinced me to choose BuildOps were its seamless integration with mobile devices, the user-friendly and comprehensive dispatch board, the efficient customer setup process, and the streamlined invoicing capabilities. Additionally, the management and accounting teams were particularly impressed with the BuildOps integration with QuickBooks, which would greatly facilitate our financial processes.

It takes time to learn, and master. Otherwise great piece of technology for anyone in HVAC line of business.

Project management capabilities and robust accounting software integration - excellent view of all main projects with pictures on a single screen (very powerful view)
could be a bit cheaper for small and mid-size companies

UI is fairly easy to learn, and lots of help from their support team

I like the flexibility, friendliness, and how overall pleasant it is to work with BuildOps team. Functionality is great, yes there are plenty of other options for this type of platforms out there but BuildOps is our partner at this point. We didn't want a provider that would be a rigid giant corporation that wouldn't care about us. BuildOps ended up begin a great choice.
Nothing to complain about, they have everything an HVAC or commercial construction needs. We've been using them for over a year and there is so much functionality and technology that BuildOps offers that it is more than enough for our company.
Overall, a great experience - their team is willing to work with companies like ours and listen. Something you don't always find when working with a vendor. Just try asking for some features from a similar company in the field that has thousands of customers - good luck with that. BuildOps trained us, their staff is knowledgeable in the industry, and they are open to suggestions from companies like ours.
