The analytics and orgnization of Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence is unmatched. Being able to see notifications for all channels in one place and view data reports is such a big time saver.

What do you dislike about Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence?

The only real downfall to this program is not being able to see data or analytics on paid/boosted posts. Those insights would be super beneficial for business and marketing going forward.

What problems is Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?

Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence solves the issues of monitoring all of the social media notifications in one place for your business, rather than clicking between sights and having to have multiple people logged in to all of the accounts. That keeps productivity high and staying on top of high priority comments easy.

What do you like best about Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence?

The best feature of Brandwatch is its data coverage across platforms. Though some platform like Facebook and Instagram has limited data coverage, it works great for Twitter and other types of sites like blog, news and forums.

The other valuable features of the platform are the keyword setup, query setup, and the possibility of using categories and tags as filters.

What do you dislike about Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence?

The dashboards are of good functionality, but it is difficult to make it look nicer. The main reason for this is the limited size adjustment options of the widgets. And widget placement is stacking type, you can not use the whole dashboard area as a canvas.

Another difficulty is the download feature. One can download or export data from dashboard widgets with all the applied filters. But for the larger data sets, exporting from dashboard widget has limitation. Download feature is useful here. But application of filter in download feature is limited.

What problems is Brandwatch Consumer Intelligence solving and how is that benefiting you?

The benefit of using Brandwatch for us is to measure the performance of the brands or the campaigns on the earned side of things. We can easily monitor the brand objectives or the performance of a specific campaign other than the creatives promoted by the campaigner. Thus it is a good check for digital marketing activities.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Brandwatch is so simple to utilize. It's very comprehensive. A powerful platform. A pleasant UI.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I've been using its keyword tracking and influencer identification. So far, no isuses.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Great influencer identification. Bandwatch made it possible for us to acess a large database of influencers that are field relevant. Fantastick tracking campaign involvement. Tracking keywords/hash tags are done in a simplified format so we know who's been discussing about our campaign.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The team from Brandwatch are exceptional. They have a professional approach to things. Very innovative. They take things to heart.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There's nothing to really hate. The platform has a bit of learning curve. But that's to be expected from a product that generates robust insights.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our latest research was co-authored by us. It helped us gain understanding on abuses posted across Twitter. As a non-proft that leads the globe in anti-bullying, gaining an understanding on cyberbullying and hatred enabled us to craft current and newer support services. We even came up with resources in offering assistance to those who have been inflicted by such problems. Such partnership gave us the chance to kickstart a bigger discussion in public thanks to popular partnerships with some of the biggest brands in social media.

5 great users using Brandwatch

PROS: Brandwatch is a leader in query writing, especially when you compare it to competitive enterprise-suitable analytic systems. Does excellent monitoring, and you can rely on it completely both in terms of operations and support. I can see there were some top notch designers in charge of the interface, because I don't understand how a tool can be so simple and so helpful at the same time.

CONS: It was a struggle to think of a bad side, as the product really doesn't have any. If I have to be nit picky, I'd probably go for some improvements, social coverage most of all. Still, I've confirmed it even before that making a source request to the company will be enough for them to give you the feature you want, so I'm not particularly worried. They could work a bit on the spam filter, and eventualy sentiment analysis, even if the core of the problem is the industry itself, not them.

Great Segmentation Product

PROS: I've seen for myself that Brandwatch can do miracles for accountants and managers, most of all because it has an amazing customer care team that knows what it is doing. I would recommend it to any team in need of audience segmentation, not just because it is fast and simple, but also because it provides analytic methods no other system can offer. I mean, you simply get to see the whole picture of how you're doing on social networks, and everything is automatically calculated. Personally, I've reduced time despite of the learning curve I had to surpass, and that's because the support team provided a step-by-step training to help me.

CONS: The learning curve, of course. It's not that Brandwatch is so difficult, but it is simply different than other segmentation systems, and experience can't help too much with it. Knowing how demanding research can be, I skipped learning about it, and now I'm using Brandwatch for social monitoring only.
