What impressed me the most was that I was on the phone and had a substantive conversation with a Branch representative only a few moments after submitting an inquiry! Honestly, I was expecting a few days to go by before hearing from someone based on previous experiences with other companies.
I wish the instant transfer amount were a bit higher. It's only a daily limit, but we've had two instances where the employee had to wait for the day change to withdraw their money when they needed the funds ASAP. And support was unable to authorize a one-time increase in the daily limit in both of these cases.
When an employee hasn't worked for a few months, which is typical in our business, it allows us to send them money a week before their first paycheck. This is also very helpful as our employees are often traveling for work.
Branch is quick and easy!! My employees LOVED when we tranisitoned to branch. They get paid everyday instantly! It keeps my on my toes with distributing tips daily instead of weekly. There were times before I introduced Branch to the Restaurant Group that I would fall behind on my tip spreadsheet. I would find myself having to rush to finish it at the end of the week. When you rush mistakes happen. Mistakes with peoples money is not a good thing. Now Branch is part of my daily ruteen! It has also put the restaurant group as a whole in a better postion finacially. Not having to have a weekly pay out of tips being deducted from the bank accounts is probably the most important! Having Branch deduct it form our account daily has put us in a better postion.

Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about Branch. I have not ran into anything that I dislike.
Branch is helping our restaurant gorup tremendously. It forces me to do my tip spreasheet daily. We are paying our staff daily. Before I was putting it off and rushing to finish the spreadsheet for the week. When you rush mistakes happen. Mistakes with peoples money is not a good thing.
Secondly, which is most important. Instead of paying out weekly tips form the bank accounts for 4 different restaurants. Now we are paying out daily. The daily deductions from the accounts vs the large weekly sum has put the restaurant group as a whole in a much better finacal position!!
It's a great alternative to paying out cash to employees. Has made managing cash and payouts easy and solves more problems than you'd think!
Would be perfect if it had more integrations to pos systems but its not a huge issue

Their customer service. Easy to reach out to, amazing people to work with. I also enjoy the ease of use on a laptop. And best of all... no cash! No fees for me, no fees for my employees.
Has gotten worse! Their technology!!! It's a mostly good user experience on desktop. But on mobile, it's an absolute catastrophe. They have no app for the admin side (even though they have a great one for the end user). Their mobile site was recently updated to be optimized for mobile so it's better but still not great. Does not work at all on Safari, only on Chrome. And do NOT get me started on the stupid way they make you login! Why can't I have a username and password with two step verification like every other company on earth? Why only my cell phone number? Sometimes, the texts just don't come. Yesterday, their text provider, Twilio, was down almost all day. Couldn't do anything. Their technology team needs a complete refresh!
CASH! People are paying less and less in cash nowadays and that means we can't tipout servers in cash without going to the bank. Branch eliminates this problem.
