We here at New Creation517 love this app and how simple it is to broadcast our livesrtream. It is a simple as scheuling a broadcst and, selecting where you want to stream and then start xtreaming at the time you set. It is just that simple.
One of the things that we do not like about the Boxcast live stream setup is not having the ability to have an instant go-live button. Therefore, if you have an issue with time, and you need to set-up a last minute live stream, you can't just hit a Go-Live button, you have to schedule a broadcastinstead.
I would recommed Boxcast for all churches for their live streaming options. I know that there are a lot og other live streaming option, but for the money i feel that Boxcast gives you the best quality, tech support, and latest technology for live-streaming.
The main problem that Boxcast is helping us solve is the ability to produce a quality live broadcast our message about Jesus to all our social platforms and on our website for poeple to hear and see.
We love the scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to do simulated live broadcasts. The Boxcast player is also integral to us.
We have had some bad luck using the boxcaster encoder with our set up. It would be nicer to get that working.
Boxcast has made it easier for us to stream to multiple places and we can meet people where they are digitally that way.
The platform works well. It is very stable. Best of all is the customer service. They are there when you need them and only a call away. Sales support is top shelf
Nothing. Only have good things to say. Have tried other platforms and this is "hands down" the best for the support, service and money
It is worth it.
Stability has been solved, ease of use of the system. Switching between devices is easy.
We have been streaming with Boxcast since Covid. I'm pleased with the affordability of the mini-Boxcast, and are well-pleased with the multiple features of the Boxcast-Pro. We have been using one of each for several years, and are in the process of upgrading the mini to a "Pro" model, for better timing, audio control and H.265 encoding. The hardware is fantastic, but the support is exceptional. We can reach live people whenever we need assistance. They've even stayed late beyond their shifts to provide expertise. I don't believe there's an easier system out there in install, deploy and maintain than Boxcaster. I highly recommend the entire system, devices, staff and software.
I really don't have any real negatives. We have had some equipment failures on the Pro model, but we were shipped warranty devices within a couple of days, so we didn't miss any scheduled streaming sessions.
Reaching shutins, marketing the church, helping us make disciples of all nations, reaching those confined to their locations, enabling asynchronous viewing of our services.
Their sales staff and technical staff are there every step of the way. They made me feel comfortable and help with anything I needed.
Nothing to dislike about them. They have been great!
They provide affordable and well maintained software and hardware to help our message get out via live streaming.
There are many things to like about BoxCast, but I would say that the thing that won me over was the ease of use of their hardware. Having a one-stop-shop of encoding hardware combined with hardware to push the stream to the cloud, it makes storage, setup and maintenance very easy.
I remain incredibly frustrated--and I believe I've communicated this with the appropriate people--that BoxCast does not currently integrate with Nevco scoreboards. This is incredibly important to me, but what appears to be a fraught relationship between BoxCast and Nevco has stalled this initiative.
I think BoxCast helped us realize a market for creating revenue off our streaming while still providing free access--albeit in standard definition--for those who don't want to pay for an HD upgrade.
Boxcast is easy to use, and if there's ever a problem, their Tech Support is sensational.
I can't think of anything negative off the top of my head.
We've had multiple questions on live streaming and equipment. BoxCast has helped us solve issues during and before events, and they've even helped us choose equipment we need to make our shows better.
-How easy it works.
-How portable it is.
-The basic doesn't support 4k. but it's understandable.
Church livestreaming
If I ever have an issue, I can request assistance via text, email, or phone call.
We would like to upgrade to the Boxcaster Pro, but the price is a bit high.
Review the YouTube videos and the various plans that they offer. There are TONS of videos out there from them that detail how Boxcaster can save you time.
We are able to simulcast to various platforms with little effort.

We looked around to find the best live stream solution for our church and what we found was that Boxcast was by far the easiest. The fact that we didn't need to search and find separate kinds of encoding and decoding hardware, or set up a dedicated computer just for the live stream, was a huge win for us. It's plug-and-play. The website is easy to use and it's the only "software" you'll have to deal with. It works so easily. Something we couldn't test out before we implemented Boxcast was the stability of the live stream, and we've been very happy with the result. In the early Sundays of the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw Facebook Live, Vimeo Live, YouTube Live, and many other services crash due to the sudden increase in internet traffic- but our stream with Boxcast never went down. We've been very happy with it.
The online dashboard is functionally very good, but using it does not feel as easy to use as the rest of the system. It's pretty utilitarian and can feel a bit overwhelming to someone who might be new to live streaming.
Of course, being able to live stream on multiple platforms (Our app, website, Facebook, and YouTube) at once is a big deal. It is very nice for our people to watch the live stream from whatever source they prefer. The embed function is very helpful in this, too. We built a chat room feature through a third party and it was so easy to embed Boxcast with that system.
