The development studio, nodes, and connectors flow make designing bots remarkably user-friendly, even for non-IT professionals. Implementation is a breeze, with unbelievably easy integration. While the customer support could use some improvement, the service quality is commendable, and the customization features are perfect. One standout feature is the user-friendly knowledge base, which exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of use.

Overall, Botpress has many positive aspects, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The limitation on knowledge base tables upload, supporting only 5000 rows, is a downside. It would be beneficial if this limit could be increased, perhaps to at least 10000 rows. Additionally, there is room for enhancement in terms of both frequency of use and features. While the platform is effective, the Desktop version could be more user-friendly compared to its cloud counterpart.

I've been looking at bot-building platforms and Botpress suited me because it provides a product both in a cloud for quick creation and as a self-hosted solution under the open source model, so that there are no limitations for future scaling. The product is developing very quickly, with important updates coming out every week.

I've noticed that support has started responding slower lately, apparently it's due to growth.

I really enjoy all of the tutorials they offer. Short and to the point. It allows me to learn and apply specific things to my bot.

I wish I could use more OpenAI models. 3.5 and 4 are great but there are use cases where different models are better. I'm sure they'll be adding the feature in the future though.

Botpress solves a ton of issues because of all its integration options. If Botpress can't do it, then connect to Zappier. The super amazing feature of integrating a GPT into a bot is super cool in my opinion.

The best thing that I like about botpress

is that it is open source and it's

completely free to use. Also they make replies online easy and effortless when you have them helping you out.

There is only one thing I can think of which is it's still not like dealing with a human being but it is as close as it gets with Botpress you can almost forget you're talking to a bot.

It has solved initial conversations with customers and gets them to the right place instead of taking up resources that are needed in other places. This company has been a benefit to our business.

Botpress interface is so easy to use, it is very straight forward to build bot here. Managing complex tasks in a bot is quite easy by using workflows. Just connect the dots and you are ready to go. I developed my ai chatbot for ecommerce customer service purpose in just 2 days from very scratch. Tutorials on youtube are very friendly. I feel anyone can built interesting bots here. Pricing model is really awesome as a beginner never need to thought about money. Building and testing bot is totally free. Integrations are also very useful, can easily connect to most of the important APIs out there.

I never need to reach either discord or customer service at botpress as almost all my tasks were done by watching youtube tutorials. There should be an option when a live agent can interfere during bot chat if seems necessary.
