It’s easy to use, can manage several events at a time and gives a real time experience to event attendees. It speeds up our processes and allows us to capture valuable information that the client inputs.
The only thing I dislike is the check in check out reporting. It would be more helpful if there was a ticket that showed who checked in so that our sales reps knew when their customer arrived.
We are able to automate the check in process for events a lot better and provide a technological sensory experience to our customers. It has helped us to keep an accurate account of people for budgetary purposes, we can implement sessions for raffle giveaways, and we can print real time reports to show which customers visited which booths so we can implement a follow up email.
The onsite technical support and trouble shooting were amazing. It was great to receive support from very knowledgeable team that can step in and resolve issues onsite quickly. The Boomset system was also ran very smoothly onsite, minimal system crashes with streamlined experience.
Integration prior to the event did create some delay but it was quickly resolved. Wish for a more thorough onboarding process or training regarding to the Boomset back-end prior to the event.
Onsite check-in process. We first acquired Boomset to help us reduce check-in wait time for our attendees and what Boomset's staffs were able to provide onsite really exceeded our expectation. The technical supports from Boomset were extremely knowledgeable and quick on resolving issues. We were able to rely on them as an extension of the team.
Boomset always works, is easy to use and has really simplified attendee check-in for our events.

Slow attendee check-in. The speed of attendee check-in has greatly improved.
It makes the onsite check in process so much smoother. The attendees all comment about how cool and easy the process is. Using Boomset allows us to eliminate the pre-work headache of compiling and collating name badges. Last minute changes? No problem, we are able to use an integration to our registration site so the data flows without having to manually update.
I don't know if I have anything I dislike about it. Honestly.
We get so much time back in the pre-work process by eliminating the manual printing, and bade stuffing ahead of time. The data is great and allows us to track our audience check-in progress. We also recently just started using sessions for check-in purposes and it is a game changer!

Onsite event badge printing/attendee check-in
The fact we had an onsite resource to set up and ensure our event was successful.
There really was not anything I disliked about the Boomset app. Only things I would have changed would be including a plastic badge holder instead of just the paper badges. We had to do a lot of reprints due to people tearing their badges.
The entire process was very simple and straightforward, and they delivered on every single feature that we required. Even if they had to ask their developers to assist.
Our attendees were able to check-in within a few seconds, and they all commented on how easy and smooth the process was. It was very important to us that the first impression of the event was one that was positive and easy.
Boomset is the best way to bring modern technology to your out-dated looking event. Boomset really opened up the option to the courses we offer, the way we can track CE credit for the attendees has been received very well!
I wish Boomset would sync with automation apps like zapier.com. some of us non-profit associations need to use our membership software for collecting registrations. I would love to sync that directly to boomset, instead of uploading a list.
If you can work a simple spreadsheet you can work Boomset
The biggest problem Boomset has solved has been removing the time of pre printing badges before the conference. The ability to print on the fly has been game-changing for us. The second biggest problem this has solved is the collecting of Continuing Education credits. Before we used to have to hand out bubble sheets and pencils and go over instructions on how to complete te the scantrons .Now, we just scan thier badges! In fact, many attendees are suspicions that that is all they have to do. We pass around a clipboard so they can write down their name so they feel better. :)

So happy to hear our platform is making it easier to track your CE credits and is simplifying processes with on-demand services like badge printing. (Scantrons...eek!) Although we do offer our own event registration and have an open API, the list of direct integrations continues to grow. Stay tuned - and thanks again for your review.
Boomset is a great software for conferences and events of any size to manage their registration process. The platform is easy to navigate, and includes several features that event planners may not have even thought of. Additionally, the software provides flexibility so that you can use Boomset for the entire registration process, or just the check-in process. Perhaps the best thing about Boomset is that it not only offers a great product, but the company is always listening to its customers to add new features.
The yearly subscription plans seem a bit rigid. I wish there was more flexibility with the type of plans offered, but ultimately the cost of plans pay for themselves. Something else that can be improved is the ability to have multiple organizations on one account. Though you can create endless events, it would be helpful to many event agencies to be able to separate clients by organization, but only pay for one overall account.
Organizations that are looking to implement Boomset should consider the cost per attendee, which is lower with Boomset.
Boomset allows us to handle on-site badge printing in an economical way. Not only does this save us time pre-conference, but it also assures our attendees that their name badge will be accurate, and only display the information that they want displayed. Without Boomset, we would either have to pay much more for a similar service, or we would have to pre-print up to 1000 name badges (yikes!). Overall, Boomset gives our events an elevated look that helps to raise our overall profile and reputation as an organization.

"Expert" level subscription holders have the ability to create subgroups that can be used to store events under these smaller groups held within the main group on their Boomset account. (You can read more about that here: https://boomsethelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004097432-Subgroups).

The price is extremely reasonable for the feature set. We find the fast ledger sync between devices invaluable.
More printer options would be nice. Not the biggest dislike though.
