I like everything at the moment. I do not have any complaints.

Being able to view the financials before month-end close allows the business to course correct if needs be.

1) There is no need for coding experience which makes is really easy to learn for new users.

2) Board academy is really helpful for new users.

3) the program is really versatile which allows us to build much more than just finance budgeting, forecasting and consolidation.

What I do not like:

1) in the data reader it shows how many items are discarded but not which items

2) when using the logs in cloud administration it is hard to see what exactly has happened. You can only make a more educated guess

The software is easy to set up and maintain and the design of the tool is top.

On the same screen, I would like to be able to filter with a selector on a single dataview. I'd also like more ease in formatting dataviews.

The two best things about board are the look and feel and ease of adoption, but also the value that comes from one platform for every function (Finance, HR etc)

There's nothing I dislike about Board! However, you do need to work with a good implementation partner to balance the greenfield approach with some prepared content.

Board instantly solves all the issues with planning in excel - great workflow, robustness to data, and ability to cut and slice the plans in different multi-dimensions. On top of this is works across every part of the business but without modular costs. The more you build on it, the higher the ROI for the business. You can do just about anything in Board.

The system can be adapted to meet organisational needs. It is able to work with existing and new data and be able to give us customised reports and views. We have been able to replicate our current manual process and automate them to get more precise and real-time information.

Implementation can be time consuming and I found it hard to dedicate time to work with the development team while still trying to do my normal work. A lot of time is needed to gather the needs, work on the views, test and implement.

BOARD has been able to replicate our current manual processes, which are time-consuming, and we have been able to automate reporting. The system has also helped us to have all the required budgetary and expense information stored in wa way that is most helpful to the teams that are implementing our projects, especially as out current financial software if not able to do this.

Flexibility - the tool is able to be configured to create reporting for any user purpose. We use the Office add in to allow users to aggregate data outside of the main capsules.

Its blank canvas means you need to have good datawarehouse / SQL loading protocols and careful testing required to make sure it's working well. Some data validation protocols would be helpful.

Ensure you have a good design for what you're trying to achieve with the project implementation and a structure for testing.

Board provides capsule dashboards for our users, customized by individual. It also allows analysts the opportunity to create live Excel files for repeated reportis. Productivity is improved because we're spending less time collating data and more time reviewing it.
