You pay for the features you need and not for all the bells and whsitles. It is also an easy and intuitive platform. The onboardign process has been quite smooth. Jeff and his team have gone above and beyond to make sure we get the most of the platform and that it answers our business needs and that we can measure incrmental success and ROI to the business.
Nothing so far - I like that there sout of the box connections and options to build ustom API connections. I think more optimisations may be identified once we are live and measuring incremental value and reporting.
BlueConic is helping us provide a single view of the consumer across all our marketing touchpoints and activities. This allows us to provide:
1. perosnalised journies and expereicnes across our channels
2. media efficenices
3. Enablement for abandoned cart and other D2C capabilities and journies
4. sophisiticated segmentation
5. determine CLV
6. provide better reporting and insights
Cross-Channel Marketing: BlueConic supports omnichannel marketing by integrating with various marketing channels, including email, social media, mobile, web, and advertising platforms. This integration helps businesses deliver consistent messaging and experiences across channels.
Implementation Challenges: Implementing a customer data platform like BlueConic can be a complex process, especially for organizations with existing data systems and infrastructure. Integration with different data sources and systems may require technical expertise and resources.
Lack of Personalization: Personalization is crucial for delivering relevant and engaging experiences to customers. BlueConic addresses this challenge by leveraging the unified customer data to enable real-time personalization across channels. By tailoring messages, offers, and recommendations to individual customers, businesses can enhance customer engagement and drive conversions.
We like best that we can capture data and learn more about our fans and customers. Also, we love all the integrations that blueconic provides. the one we use most often is mailchimp. This allows us to import data about consumers and send them emails with certain properties. Also, this allows us to collect data, which can help from an advertising standpoint in both sales and paid digital advertising. Blueconic allows us to learn so much. We also use blueconic on our websites to serve messages via marketing tools in a variety of ways. We use the lightbox, toasters and notification bars on all of our websites to tell customers about sales, important information or to sign up for emails. Also, we use it on our websites for content takeover.
We don't like that sometimes the integrations do not work. Also, when we reach out to customer service, sometimes it takes a while for the solution to be found and fixed.
We are solving the problem of serving messages to our consumers or fans and we are also able to gain valuable information and data about people who are visiting our site or purchasing from us. It makes it easy to house all of our data in one place and integrate it with other applications. It integrates nicely and is easily transferable. We can also pull reports easily to share data internally or with externally partners.
BlueConic's technology and interface is second to none. They excel at taking potentially difficult tasks and making them easy for users to accomplish without having to stretch the platform's limits or reach out to customer support. The way BlueConic integrates with websites almost seems like magic; by placing a single tag you're able to track almost everything and deploy website personalization. It's one of the most powerful and flexible data tools we've used.
Right now, there's no ability to view metadata about the profile data, such as date created or updated, which would be a very valuable benefit. In order to track the necessary data, you sometimes have to get creative with the profile attributes part of the tool, which can become a tangled mess if you're not careful.
BlueConic is definitely a leader in the CDP and marketing data space. After looking at several similar tools they stood apart due to the tools intuitiveness and power, along with their great customer support.
We're using BlueConic to create a centralized database of our users that is accessible to all of our other marketing tools.
Blueconic allows to easily create insights that can immediately be used as triggers for actions (both inside the platform as in connected platforms through the connectors).
The pluggability of the platform is a big advantage, but keeping oversight of all possibilities that can be added through plugins can be difficult.
Blueconic allows us to have a very short chain between measuring behaviour and engaging with the user, while still keeping the possibility to import advanced metrics from external systems.
Very understandable UI, possibility to connect with in essention all systems, fully in control of data modelling with AI Workbench.
By making connections through Jupiter notebooks it is not easily possible to collect real-time-data, only with named connections.
Unifying all customer data, activating and modelling on this data.
BlueConic is a CDP which is easy to use for a marketeer to personalize the online journey of your users. Dialogues can be put up without a lot of techical knowledge. There are a lot of out of the box connections that can be used to connect other systems in your tech stack with BlueConic.
The BlueConic team is also very accessible. They use their expertise to help you build your usecases. We also had a great experience in co-creating new features, which weren't possible before. They really think with you.
The UX is not bad but it could improved.
Because there are lot of features it's sometimes not that easy to keep track of all the possiblities you have.
Gathering & storing all online data in a unified profile.
Creating segments to use for marketering purposes.
Interacting with our users in a personalized way.
Personalizing the online experience of our uses (giving them personalized content & marketing messages).
Dynamic data & paywalls
Optimization of conversion
Blueconic has a great platform for easy html/css input, easy to use/understand segments, and their documentation online is full of depth and knowledge. Best of all: makes scaling easy.
The system is so easy to use that sometimes it seems easy to break or mess something up (live). There is a small learning curve in the beginning, and feel as if its success is dependent on a web development team.
Segmenting our users and targeting specific experiences for specific groups of users. We use a lot of segments for exclusion purposes with our digital experiences, but that's to ease their digital journey.
It has a lot of useful features: flexibility in the definition of new properties and segments, connectors for external systems to inject/share data (social media, data warehouses, marketing platforms, ...), easy and straightforward installation both on websites and apps, great support (fast, committed and helpful), the "AI workbench" section offers the possibility to run scripts to calculate new complex metrics or to apply AI algorithms.
Users management is simple and very flexible, offering very detailed access levels to resources (especially the access to personal information is carefully managed).
Overall, it has all the features you would expect in a CDP for big enterprises (managing it in a proper way and exploiting all its capabilities requires dedicated resources).
It's a relatively young platform and it has developed quickly, so there are bugs here and there: usually not show-stoppers, but still annoying. For example, in the "insight" section, where you can display and customize simple dashboards and download basic reports, for certain combinations of properties and segments the downloaded numbers are different from what is displayed (and they just don't make sense).
Segments are easy to create, but there are some limitations (for example you can create a new segment by intersecting existing segments but not joining them).
The UX is good enough, but it could be improved
We can collect all the actions users are taking into our properties (web and apps), we can analyse their behaviour, define the product development rodmaps based on this analysis, target the users with tailored communications in campaigns and newsletters, understand the needs of our personas and target new customers accordingly
