Blender is a powerful, open-source 3D modeling and animation software praised for its extensive features and free accessibility. Users consistently highlight its versatility, covering a broad range of tasks from basic modeling to complex animations and rendering. While Blender is lauded for its robust capabilities and active community support, a steep learning curve and occasionally complex user interface pose challenges for beginners. Performance issues can arise with large projects or lower-end hardware, requiring users to invest in more powerful computers. Despite these drawbacks, Blender remains a popular choice for both professionals and enthusiasts seeking a free and powerful 3D solution.

When I started studying Blender, I realized that it had a very active community and the developers paid a lot of attention to its suggestions.
What was very interesting, as well as very exciting, was seeing a community work towards a common project.
I work a lot with interior design and architecture. I often don't have in-depth knowledge of many tools, but Blender is a platform with many interesting and useful tools.
Fit my workflow well, with Archviz, and Interior design
I love how intuitive it is and the amount of great features for creating virtually any image. Also you can look at the code, build your own custom plugins and fix any bugs that stand in your way.
There's not a thing that I dislike about Blender.
It's solving the problem of translating images from my head to the outside world.
The best thing about Blender it is free of cost and this is very small software but with full package for 3D artists , because its come with all features like modeling , texturing and rendering.
The render time are very slow and its interface is very complex for new users. One of the major downside of this software is its difficult for doing any detail sculpting characters.
This software saving money because when I want to create any 3D models or animation things this software is free of cost and easy to use. For learning 3D modeling or 3D animation this software is best and FREE
I love how they made it more user friendly than other softwares
It's hard to use it with an apple mouse.
Sculpting in this softwares is the best I had since I started making some 3D models.
Blender is a robust opensource 3D beast. I love how customizable the interface is. I love the workflow. It is incredible and the fact that it is open source makes it so cool.
The render times are incredibly long out of the box. There is so much packed into the program that it can appear to be a little cluttered at times. This isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I need educational 3D renders that people can include in their slide shows or I need hero images that don't exist yet. This is typically used when there is no physical producted designed yet.
It is light weight, flexible interface, powerful and has a lot of addons that makes your life easier.
I use it for 3D hard surface modeling and video editing. I don't need additional software to edit video renders, the builtin video editor is so powerful and easy to use.
As for 3D modeling, once you learn the shortcuts, it became so easy and fast to make the model. There is a lot of how-to videos (official and non-official).
The interface is sooo flexible, you can split, join, change the size of each screen and customize it as you wish.
Importing large FBX files is very slow! Although I have a powerful machine (32GB Ram, i7, Nvidia GF 1070) sometimes I wait for more than 10 minutes to import a large FBX file (>1 GB).
Blender is offering a great software for free! The online community is providing a great how-to knowledge. I can do more than I can imagine, in most cases I end up wondering how great is the result :)
It is simple to produce any shape or pattern thanks to the modelling tools strength. Characters can be animated to move and look like actual people and the physics engine enables accurate simulation of materials like liquids and clothing.
For new users the UI might be confusing and time-consuming to understand. because it could have performance issues, working with huge or complicated models or sceneries might be challenging.
We utilise Blender to make both straightforward and intricate sceneries for our customers. We are able to create 3D models of objects, texture them, and even rig them if necessary. We can create scenarios and animate the objects once they are ready. Blender also provides good post-processing features, which we use to improve the output.
I like Blender feature like creating Motion Animation or 3D Animation using Blender Services.
I dislike the system's high level requirement like 16 Gb memory minimum performance so it's costly.
I have been using Blender with 3D Rendering and Animation for 3D Game Purpose.
Blender takes its strength from the large community constantly sharing and developing the code. It has incredibly changed and grown since the first versions and this was possible thanks to the Community. Furthermore, you can use Blender to do any kind of 3d and its basic and integrated render engine is powerful. The possibility to do 2d animations starting from a 3d model is extraordinary!
The interface is really complex and could generate anxiety for a newbie. On the other hand, Blender has an option and a command for almost everything, so it is quite impossible to design an easy and friendly-lòooking interface.
I am able to create everything I need in my job, especially strange and organic shapes, like human bodies and monsters. The fact that this program is open-sourced and costs 0€ is incredibly important for a small design studio like mine.

The development speed is really what I like about it. The level of progression on each new version is inspiring and having fluid simulation, smoke, particles, rigging , tracking and a tons of other high end features in an open-source software is superb. The fact that it runs on Linux, OSX and Windows and it is so small in size, its mind blowing. I gotta say that a lot of times I rely on Blender to solve production issues simply because it is really fast and light.
What I dislike is the lack of full node integration, but apparently that is coming eventually, so I will just hold tight! It is really a great app.
Really spend some time watching some webniars and tutorials available at blender.org, they are really great sources of knowledge and if you are uncertain if it is worth investing the time on it, just watch some of the shorts produced in the last few years, they are a statement of quality and it stands tall side by side to any payed solution.
