"Fantastic CI/CD tool for mobile build automation"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

Clean UI, customizable workflow. Rich set of features and plugins for customization and extensibility. Absolutely love the UI to manage the task, secrets, signing, and build artifacts. Support for remote debugging

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

Do not support own on-premise infrastructure. While it is a great solution, it is not cheap. It could be very expensive for a large scale usage. Cannot access build logs at real-time, need to wait until the build completion

Recommendations to others considering Bitrise:

It's a perfect solution for small to medium size org/usecase

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mobile Build automation, workflow management, continuous integration and continuous delivery based on git events using web hooks. Easy management of artifacts and playStore/App store submission

"Superb online service for builds and continuous integration and deployment"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

I love how simple and easy it is to set up a build that will automatically run for each commit and distribute my app to the App Store; I love the user interface and user experience that is very aimed at Mac OS users.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

The pricing was a bit high for me and the free version was limited in build time, which had me using other services at many points.

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to have a continuous integration and deployment flow that was hosted on the cloud rather than on an internal server. Every commit pushed to our git repo is automatically built by Bitrise and deployed to the App Store.

"Mobile Devops made simple"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

I’ve been a customer of Bitrise for more than 3 years for 2 differents apps. It helps me and my team to stay focus on delivering value instead of losing time in technical Ops issues ans maintenance

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

Some companies may be afraid to have theirs source code / sensitive materials accessed on the cloud (security consideration)

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have put in place CI / CD with Pull Request Check on Github. Automatic iOS and tvOS app delivery (nightly, weekly, release candidate). We also use bitrise to deliver builds to our QA (iOS, tvOS, Android, React Native ...)

"Bitrise is our CI platform of choice for it's power, user friendly interface and price"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

Bitrise has very powerful options (we use the Elite plan) with a great interface. We get that for a set price per month, which is a lot easier to sell to the finance department than the exorbitant prices that most alternatives ask for Mac OS credits nowadays.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

I can't think of anything I dislike. When we started using Bitrise it was a bit hard to use the workflow step library, but that has been resolved.

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

We develop a React Native app that we test using Detox which then sends the screenshots to Percy for visual regression tests. This flow is kicked off on every PR so we can merge changes with confidence. Covering the whole app means the tests can take a while, so it is important the whole flow is stable and quick. With other CI services we often faced flakyness and run-times of over an hour, which (especially combined) can grind the team to a halt on a bussy day. Bitrise gives us the power and stability we need to make the tests help rather than hinder us.

"Great automation tool and easy to setup and use"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

I love how user friendly it is and the documentation. Also support is there for you if you have questions. It saved me A LOT of time when building apps because I don't need to archive them on my computer and distribute them manually, bitrise does it for me and monthly bitrise subscription is WAY cheaper than developer hours.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

None really, I really like the service .

Recommendations to others considering Bitrise:

Just do it, saves time and simplifies automation so much !

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

No need to worry about distributing the app.

Saving a lot of time because I as a developer am not wating for code to archive and distribute from my laptop, bitrise does that by pulling it from github. And that was 10 minutes per commit that you want to get distributed.

One place where testers can find all versions by filtering.

"Good service, good support, everything is working fine, a lot of time saved for me and my team !"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

The UI is great and easy to understand. The API is fully documented and allows us to automate even more with our workflows.

The support team is very quick to respond, with good responses!

All the steps are open source, so you can explore what is done and create your own very quickly.

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

VM should be a little more powerful, but I understand that the cost will be more elevated if so.

Recommendations to others considering Bitrise:

Go and use it, you can save a loooot of time !

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

Release build every two weeks.

Nightlybuild every night: build and push to TestFlight for ours users.

Build and test every pull request

(Same on the Android team)

"Best tool for mobile CI/CD on the market"
What do you like best about Bitrise?

Clear UI, easy configuration, pipelines and hooks

What do you dislike about Bitrise?

Android emulators have some minor stability issues.

Recommendations to others considering Bitrise:

Try the trial period and see for yourself if it's the tool you need. :)

What problems is Bitrise solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest benefit is running UI tests on mobile devices, other than that the whole pipeline integration and hooks are a big plus.
