"Excellent Business Intelligence Tool"

What do you like best about Infor Birst?

Birst is not such a complex business intelligence tool. The outlook of the tool is straightforward and basic. The features are basic, easy to understand and use. The integration of CRMs is quite seamless. The Dashboards are very impressive.

What do you dislike about Infor Birst?

Birst works slowly sometimes while exporting extensive data.

What problems is Infor Birst solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it every day to see the performances and contributions of the team members, accounts and hotels. Customisation of the desired reports is very impressive. The most fantastic feature is that it offers excellent dashboards of the data and provides BAR, Graphs, Trend Charts and Pie charts. The data can be exported in Excel spreadsheets as well as PDF files. It simplifies the daily tasks hence improvise the team productivity.

What do you like best about Infor Birst?

It is one of the best AI-based data visualization and modelling tools currently used in Infor CloudSuite WMS and other Infor Tools.

What do you dislike about Infor Birst?

Sometimes the reports are very limited and customization is not possible.

What problems is Infor Birst solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are Infor WMS cloud suite implementaion partners and have been using Infor Birst to deliver reports for the wms transactions.One pf the best tool with intuitive UI and user friendly.

Amazing tool for visualizing business intelligence

PROS: Incorporating to company sites is easy with this app, and it’s great in creating reports that meet customer demands. Visualizer and designer features, for example, greatly helps in creating stunning customized presentations. Also, it sports many different links to get data such as the SFDC connector. Its customer support is highly satisfactory as well.

CONS: It has a high price tag and is difficult to learn. It requires at least one resource to keep, as well as it's inconvenient to update. Moreover, it often goes sluggish, especially when handling a large amount of data.

I generally do analytics of complex databases of ERP system like Ln ,M3 and EAM .it's help to build data model in easy way and connection to datalake with OS is good to use

What do you like best?

-Great customer support - responds and resolve issues very quickly

-Easily integrate/implement into existing sites

-Variety of different connectors to pull in data (i.e. SFDC)

-lots of different tools and capabilities to build reports to customer needs

-Visualizer and deisgner tools provide the ability for custom reports

What do you dislike?

-It is fairly expensive

-Performance (loading time) can take a while if it is a big data set

-Tedious to update all different instances

-Need 1 resource at minimum to maintain

-Steep learning curve

-Currently using Birst for our descriptive analytics solution. Allow customers to visualize their device data

-Help customers understand end-user behavior, most commonly used features, device locations, etc.

The application is customizable to our industry.

What do you dislike?

We frequently have to use designer, because visualizer doesn't have the same abilities, but development in designer is not efficient. It takes me forever to find attributes and measures because there is no search field.

-no distribution of sample spaces presented in breakout sessions (this would be especially useful when experimenting with new features)

We are building our enterprise solution, going one department at a time. We've delivered a "daily scorecard" for our warehouse managers, which allows them to understand all the efficiencies / inefficiencies they may experience on a day to day basis. Also, a high level marketing space has been created to allow marketing managers to understand performance of individual marketing channels. We've seen significant cost reduction in the warehouse and an increased efficiency in marketing spend.
