Extremely easy to reporting module, seamless with Navisworks.
I would really like to see Architects working in Revit not Navisworks
Get your project set up on the right coordinate system from the excution plan moving forward. Otherwise you might find one large mess downstream.
We build large complex medical complexs. The amount of issues we have caught using BIM tracks or beyond reason.
The fact that non BIM users are still able to participate in the issue tracking and coordination process.
It allows people to use AutoCad and still participate in the coordination process. (But that’s the point).
Been able to provide a very efficient and methodical workflow to construction coordination.
Easy to understand and implement, affordable, and bridges the communication gap between us (contractor) and our design partners and subcontractors.
The only thing I dislike is that it was not invented 15 years earlier.
Take advantage of the trial version.
No more wasting time populating spreadsheets for reports or information exchange lost in email Inboxes thanks to BIM Track.
As we all know, Navisworks is great with clash detection, but not clash resolution and management. BIM Track allows you to convert those clashes into cloud-based issues that can then be easily managed in the authoring tools for quick and easy resolution. It makes the entire coordination process really easy to manage.
If we could use NWC files to create the cloud federated model in addition to IFCs, that would be great.
Clash management and resolution.
Ease of use to resolve clashes, adding images and alerting other users for various disciplines.
It has some options that are not commonly used and it can be confusing when trying to find the right option.
Clash detection and clash solving. BIM coordination.
Best part is that it will direct zoom on the issue which is clashing like to press the view in model then it will point out the issue. We can create and localise the issue in this software. It will install in the navisworks software where we can login and resolve the clashes and create the clashes between trades and Acs.Photo of the view can also be put in the issue while creating.
When creating the issue Bim Track window is open then we can't edit on the navisworks like we can't change the angle of the view. Hang and slow process can be the issue of using this.
With the help of this software, usage of clash detective tool of the navisworks is minimized and we can send the difficulties to the clients by creating the issue. To be discussed, open, closed, to be resolved, reopened, etc these filters options are there to apply and in that way we can distinguish the issue very easilyeasily.
It is a great app to create a clash-free model within a reasonable timeline. You can keep track of all the clashes and prioritize clashes. With the BIM track, you can also add an image to your clash, which will help in better understanding in clash and creating the best possible solution.
It takes a significant amount of time to find the clash and create a Bim track issue. If it can create some viewpoints by itself, it can save time in the coordination process.
We use the BIM track for mostly coordination pupose. My client used to create a viewpoint by it, and they sent it to us, and we resolved those clashes. They can prioritize some clashes which need to be taken care of by setting some priority to issues. Also, the client can add some additional comments if required while solving the issue.
A straightforward and essential tool to enhance the efficiency which coordinating among subcontractors of different trades who are located in different corners of the world.
Nothing special, but if it could be released earlier, then it could be more benefical.
BIM Track can come out as game-changing for the construction industry.
Just Go for it.
BIM Track is being used for doing clash coordination among different trades and maintaining the documentation of the clash coordination process.
Most people treat clash detection as the first line of defense in coordination but it should be the last line of defense. Using BIM Track during design phase you have an exceptionally clear way of communicating a issue with other design team members. Emails and snap shots can be lost and hard to track. Here you see the issue and can track the issue. Use this internally or externally it saves you time and frustration in looking for an issue. Then when you do get in to clash detection you can add those to the cloud, track and see which trade is having a hard time keep up and cause the most issues. Even though I don't currently use the software at my new company, It will be part of our VDC solution here shortly!
Not to much to dislike. The team is pretty good about helping with issues, even with the time delay from east coast to west coast. We did have a problem at first uploaded clashes and it adding the clashes each week with a new number - but the team helped clear that issue.
Communication. We have fast turn around times when asking questions of the design team.

We can track the coordination issue with this software.we can add in Navisworks with this so both parties are locate same issues with this .
Very helpful for two persons who are working on same project.
I think software charges are more nominal because it is a add in of Navisworks.
Yes it will save much more time in coordination process.
