"Powerful and flexible pricing engine"
What do you like best about BillingPlatform?

The capacity to allow for the most complex and convoluted billing scenarios. Strong mediation layer and collector capabilities for consuming diverse data sets.

What do you dislike about BillingPlatform?

Development and configuration cycles consume a lot of time due to the platform's speed in the non-production environments. Troubleshooting and debugging capabilities need to be improved.

What problems is BillingPlatform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We automate and solve incredibly complex contractual and billing arrangements with our critical clients using BillingPlatform. The formula product capability is one of the most versatile features in the world of billing systems.

"Simplified, Accurate Billing"
What do you like best about BillingPlatform?

BRM is easy to use and accurate with all the detail being imported. when I do need help, support is very responsive. I use the invoicing and reporting features mostly.

What do you dislike about BillingPlatform?

The initial program around switching can be a pain but it is worth it and helps you to get your data all cleaned up and in order anyway, which should be done periodically. Only thing about the program itself that I find a hassle is if I make an entry error, for most fields, it won't jsut let me edit; I have to delete the line item and re-create it. I realize it is designed that was for security reasons but for me (the owner making the changes), being able to edit more easily would help me personally more than the extra security for employee input.

What problems is BillingPlatform solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Convertng all that detailed call data into a readable / billable summary

2. Allows me to accurately complete my monthly billing progress in a day or two.

3. Makes it easier for me to manage my USF contribution calculations and reporting.

4. the reporting helps me pull what i need for the quarterly FCC filings.

5. I pay ontime but my checks (sent by my bank since I use epay online) seem to get lost a lot and I get late notices. I have sent more payments than twice due ot them being lost. that is a bit frustrating but it is not a reflection of the billing system itself.

I felt some of the information was repetative

What problems is BillingPlatform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are creating a more automated, accurate billing for our franchise partners. The accuracy and time that we used to spend on franchise billing has drastically improved.

with any new program there are some issues but they have been addressed with the system updates

What do you like best about BillingPlatform?

The ability to update fields, pull reports and create new rating options. I like that it is web based and has APIs to Salesforce.

What do you dislike about BillingPlatform?

Sometimes understanding the field names and mapping can be cumbersome to decipher.

What problems is BillingPlatform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can send our invoices electronically and do not have printing costs. Reporting is easily accessible for multiple departments. Users functionality is easy to set up and limit.
