What do you like best about Bevy?

I love that Bevy is one centralized stop for all things community events. It's so easy to start and host events to engage your community, and the implementation was seamless. I love that as soon as I publish an event, it integrates with Salesforce and creates a campaign for me, which takes off a load of work on my part. Also, customer support is out of this world; they answer quickly and are thorough in making sure the customer is happy. I use the platform every day to find new ways to make my program better.

I wish the app had a bit more functionality to it.

What do you like best about Bevy?

- As an admin, I went to Bevy and on-boarded myself into Bevy almost quickly after a quick YouTube Tutorial

- Customer Support / Account management is quickly resolved.

What do you dislike about Bevy?

- Slow, not real-time

- Multi-day events analytics are poorly captured in the admin dashboard.

-- Expensive to start for a small community, because prices decrease only after the community scales itself.

We host multiple events on Bevy, it's great to use a platform that lets multi-events to host in one day.

Bevy also allows the creation of chapters, that can be managed by a local community leader.

What do you like best about Bevy?

Bevy makes setting up and managing events in my virtual community simple and fast. I've used other platforms and have gotten overwhelmed by the number of options and checkboxes I had to go through to get an event published correctly. The team at Bevy has somehow managed to harness the same type of power in a much simpler interface.

What do you dislike about Bevy?

Member and partner management is a bit clunky. I wish there was a better way to see stakeholder groups and send them segmented messages based on their attendance, type, etc.

What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing virtual events specifically was fairly time-consuming before I switched. Other platforms had way too many options to fiddle with and didn't translate well to online delivery. And connecting it to the platforms I needed to manage everything holistically opened things up to malfunctions and errors.

What do you like best about Bevy?

I dare you to find another platform that can do more than Bevy - they’ve really thought of everything you need to run virtual and offline community events smoothly. It saves me so much time when organising events and I love that it tracks everything all in one spot so I’m not having to use multiple platforms or spreadsheets. The Bevy platform gives me back the time I need so I can actually focus on what counts - the people and the community!

What do you dislike about Bevy?

The API was missing some basic features needed to connect with our App & website.

What do you like best?

There is so much to love about the Bevy Platform! The Bevy platform takes care of all my event organizing professional needs. It's fully functional on both desktop and mobile. The ease of use in setting up events (especially virtual) is a huge time saver. I'm always blown away by its numerous features it offers that I've never seen anywhere else like seamlessly being able to create virtual events, quickly match speakers, add in sponsors, to even being able to feature attendees or offer different ticket types.

What do you dislike?

The only thing that missing now is integration with LinkedIn events. It would be great to seamlessly have RSVPs be able to register through LinkedIn. That is my biggest need at the moment.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bevy gives me a holistic view of my attendees and a 360 way to automate ongoing outreach as an overall virtual event organizer and for individual events. It handles and automates so much of what otherwise in other tools would be endless hours of manual work that I don't have to do. I also get an event and virtual event end-to-end solution from creating events to promoting them to running them and wrap up. It is a huge time saver! In addition, as its workflows provide so much power and features, I have a wide variety of options to scale up events (adding in sponsors, speakers, or highlighting attendees, photos after events) and have them always feel professional. Overall in the past, it felt like I had to use multiple solutions when running IRL or virtual events and all of them combined didn't come close to doing half of what Bevy does. It's so nice having an all-in-one virtual event solution. As a person of one for events, I can do the work like an entire team of 20.

What do you like best about Bevy?

The fact that I can create an event in less then 5 minutes - and then scale my community to hundreds of in real life (IRL) events around the world, is simply something no other software can do.

If you're into Customer-to-Customer (C2C) marketing or simply creating a community around an idea, brand or cause, then Bevy is your solution. The power of it's Analytics, Permissions and ease of Events Management surpasses anything else out there.

Creating community events has never been this easy.

What do you dislike about Bevy?

When I drag and drop the videos and images from my recent event onto the page to showcase what we are about, and excite future attendees, I wish it would load slightly faster, but I think that could just be my slow internet in Africa.

Recommendations to others considering Bevy:

Jump onto a call with the Bevy team and ask the hard questions. If you are satisfied, then get it. The Bevy team iterate often, so there are amazing features coming out every week, often a requested feature can be delivered in record time.

What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bevy solved our biggest problem - scale.

When Startup Grind grew larger than 150 In Real Life (IRL) chapters around the world, we needed a system that could take us securely into the future. Now with 600+ chapters around the world hosting 2000+ events a year, we are still ablet o grow even more confidently.

The permissions allow that chapter leaders (chapter directors) have full access to the information they need, but not have access to sensitive user information, nor have access to other communities, or chapters. At an admin level, we are able to see the overview picture with the powerful analytics as well as easily onboard and offboard our chapter leaders.

Selling tickets at a global level as well as having to manage revenue share and payouts was an absolute pain - with Bevy, it's mostly automated, solving another massive pain point.

What do you like best about Bevy?

Overall, the Bevy platform is pretty user-friendly and their support guides are easy to understand. Having the ability to customize the type of event (in-person vs. virtual) and format (fireside chat, panel, fundraiser, etc.) is a great since we host a variety of community events and soon-to-be chapters. Beyond the platform functionality, the Bevy customer success and support teams are great to work with and helped address many of our initial questions during our onboarding phase.

What do you dislike about Bevy?

It would be great if there were additional design widgets that we could use to customize the look and feel of our Bevy pages so that it is a seamless match with our branding. Along those same line, having the ability to include additional photo & video assets throughout our chapter & event pages would help to create additional excitement and participation.

What problems is Bevy solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Event management tool that is white-labeled so it integrates perfectly within our own site.

- Ability to allow our community leaders to create and manage their own chapter pages

- Email and reminder capabilities

- Analytics for each event to better understand what's working and where there might be opportunities to improve.
