The ease with which you can match or update a match across all pay markets in one step is such a time saver compared to other systems. Implementation was completely painless and we had great support for implementation and our day-to-day needs with a dedicated CSM. There are also lots of reports to choose from and you can even build your own or request new reports from the BetterComp team. They are constantly making updates based on user feedback and are very open to new suggestions.

Adding a new job level or job has to be done by upload vs. being able to just add in the tool – it would be nice to be able to just add it instead of uploading. We also have a somewhat complex local grading system in place that BetterComp was able to setup for us but some of the reporting doesn’t quite reflect the local grades yet (they’re working on it already though!)

Before BetterComp we managed all benchmarking in spreadsheets – very manual and lots of room for errors to be made. Now we spend way less time on data management and more time on analytics and actions based on those analyses. Looking forward to using the salary range modeling feature this year as well since that has been very manual for us in the past.

I made the decision to move my company's survey management to BetterComp over a year ago, and the best thing about BetterComp is they delivered what they sold us. Implementation and migration were straightforward, and they've regularly made updates to unlock new functionality, which my team has enjoyed.

There isn't really any dislikes within my team but the closest thing I can think of is during implementation we made a couple of decisions with our set up that we would do differenty now that we know the tool better.

They are making survey participation and pricing jobs easier, which saves my team time so they can focus on other strategic items.

BetterComp has provided us with significant efficiencies in our market pricing and survey submission process. The interface is intuitive, easy to use, and an excellent repository for all things benchmarking. Another key advantage is the magnitude of reports and visual analytics available to you to help understand range progression, outliers, and demographic comparisons to the market and your range structure.

I really only have glowing comments about BetterComp. The one thing I would mention is that I would love to have the ability to add a new job level for our structure directly through the tool rather than via upload. I bet that the team already has this on the roadmap....they have been incredibly proactive to engage with clients and assess your needs.

BetterComp has created a one-stop-shop for benchmarking, allowing our team to collaborate across countries, roles, and job structures. Within the composite function, you can view all your benchmarks in one spot and toggle the analytics you would like to see to ensure the benchmark fits the role. Another key feature of the product is the ability to create draft benchmark roles and play around with the market data cuts to understand the potential cost of a new role. My team also loves the analytics feature of the product. BetterComp provides insightful visuals that allow you to quickly see where there might be a dislocation in your salary structure. The platform has several other helpful reports (range penetration, key trends, YOY analysis, etc). This has saved time on reporting since the system does it with a click of a button! BetterComp makes benchmarking and survey submissions....

BetterComp has been a great partner for us for five reasons:

1.) Configuration/setup was fast and easy – we were up and running in a few weeks – and most of that was us getting our data in order.

BetterComp makes market pricing existing and new roles a breeze! My organization has many jobs + locations, and BetterComp offered a solution so we could market price the jobs all at once. Previously, I adjusted the matches for every job + location, which was painful and time consuimng. The market pricing functionality has made market pricing more enjoyable and efficient for my organization.

There's nothing to dislike about BetterComp!

Having all of our surveys located in one place makes it easy to market price our jobs. I've also had success using the platform to model salary structures for our organization.

BetterComp offers an innovative solution for many compensation processes and analytics that every organization is faced with. As a very large, global organization (>30k) participating in almost 75 salary surveys, BetterComp was the best solution out of many other vendors we demoed. We found that many of the other vendors have legacy systems that make it difficult to customize the tool. BetterComp has been built with flexibility in mind and the team works very hard to accommodate customization where possible.

While we are still in the implementation phase, we have been so impressed by our senior customer experience manager who has walked us through setting up the system step-by-step. The team has very strong experience working with a variety of systems and tools and the expertise they have makes it easy for us to review the options and select the approach that is best for our organization.

The BC team are great active listeners and seek to understand first my approach and how best to seek an optimal bespoke solution.

There is nothing that I have come across yet that BetterComp hasn't been able to work with or find a feasible solution

We have very defined and limited parameters to work with in regards to HRIS integration but we have managed to work on solutions that help us to be productive.
