As an Accounting Manager for a startup company, I like the ability to quickly change controls on cards as needed (one-time increases. turning on/off the ability to process foreign transactions, etc.) I find it also beneficial to account for one pooled fund vs paying and accounting for multiple different credit cards. The ability to get reports by cardholder is easy so you still have visibility at the individual level as well as a consolidated picture.
The QBO interface is pretty good but could be improved by additionally integrating the vendor names and recalling the g/l account assignment (as QB does) for repeat vendors/transactions. We have all found the system to be very intuitive making it easy for the cardholders to upload their receipts for each transaction which uploads the receipt as an attachment in QBO when it is synced. (A huge positive!)
The customer service has also been great. We ran into a small issue at the setup but the Bento Team was eager to jump in and rectify the problem.
Our management team is also very happy with Bento! That said, it has been a win-win!

I wish the accounting integration was a little better as far as uploading the vendor field and recalling past g/l account assignments as QB does.
Only accounting for one pool of funds as opposed to accounting for 10 separate debit cards (as the company was previously doing before I was hired and switched over) has saved time and made for better visibility of activity for management and accounting. Better spending control and flexibility.
Its simple when i need tools or hardware im not limited. And always get the job done no matter how big or small

Having a Bento account is a great way to give employees an expense card without having to add them to a major credit card account. You can set daily limits and controls.
Had an issue with cards being declined at Menards. Contacted Bento multiple times and they were unable to resolve the issue with the merchants system.

The virtual cards - they offer timely control of spending limit provides great ease for our expense management. The Bento platform tracks our expenses and basiclaly does the accounting job for us. The ability tracks where money is used at ease is very useful as well. The API also offers management convenience for large volumn of transactions
Sometimes the system has errors (e.g. card balances not reflected timely) but customer support is very slow (sometimes weeks) to responde to our inquiries and resolve technical errors.
