I use this company at my workplace and they're awesome.

I've used this company at my workplace for sending donations to charities in Canada and even throughout the world. I've made many donations over the years and they always get to where they need to. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time but it always gets there, usually within a month or two at most. While this may seem like a lot of time, Benevity is ensuring the funds go to legitimate causes and they are also pooling donations monies from other companies to make the payments to charities more efficient. The automatic matching and volunteering rewards functionality on the platform are super cool as well.

What do you like best about Benevity?

I enjoy my CSM and I really enjoy the customized reporting. You are able to slice and dice. Spark is really the steller product from Benevity.

What do you dislike about Benevity?

Sometimes spark can be difficult to navigate for users. I've had employees complain they are not able to find what they need easily.

What problems is Benevity solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes it easy to track and report on all volunteering and giving. Automization is so important and the tool makes me life so much easier.

Proactive approach, newsletter, and consitant innovation to ensure admins have the best tools available.

What do you dislike about Benevity?

The sometimes very long wait to get someone from their helpline

Recommendations to others considering Benevity:

Ensure you have a good overview of your program. Really understand your future user base and get reports quarterly to properly evaluate your program and usage and act accordingly for best success. Data is everything :)

What do you like best about Benevity?

Benevity makes it very easy for our employees to make charitable donations and make a corporate match with just a few clicks. Employees can track their charitable giving and matching budget throughout the year and they receive tax receipts.

What do you dislike about Benevity?

Benevity is great, there's nothing to dislike. System is very stable and support is fantastic.

Recommendations to others considering Benevity:

The Benevity platform is easy for our employees to use and easy from an administrative standpoint too. It enables employees to quickly donate or donate and match to their favorite charities. We can promote causes as a business for events or crisis response (natural disasters, etc.). We can also promote volunteer opportunities, which is very helpful for our employees. The implementation team is great and transitioning from our old vendor to Benevity was easy. We've also expanded our platform and the implementation for that was smooth. Our Customer Relationship Manager is always available to help with questions and the Benevity Help team is also very responsive. It's a great platform with great support and service. Donations and matches are always processed on schedule so the charities receive their money quickly. I highly recommend Benevity.

What problems is Benevity solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to easily promote our matching gift program to employees - we match up to $1,000 USD per employee annually. We have strong quality control, tracking and reporting with Benevity. We can promote giving campaigns for various events or global issues - disaster relief, etc.

Very useful medium for charity work / social responsibilities.

PROS: Keeps me on track of my community service time, lets me manage my personal contributions and a great help on identifying the right match for the funding.

CONS: None, it's working very well in my organization.

Awesome tool

PROS: The greatest thing in Benevity tool is incredibly user friendly and it is useful for charitable organizations. I like how you're going to create several websites and implement tasks.

CONS: I hope there were more useful functionality. Oftentimes my company would use various channels to do it all in a single file.

Benevity made donations convenient.

PROS: Our Benevity link provides me a personal perspective of bringing our society time and resources. I can immediately view the resources that are available towards time or money, and submit an application or donate directly using the software.

CONS: It might makes me worry often, If I have not been around lately, just inform me to return. Though I haven't offered more of my time, notify me either! And inspire me to still get my coworkers to support me! And improve everything so that we can try to share more to others!

The best way to do charitable activities.

PROS: I love to be able to donate, even if it's cash or voluntary work.

CONS: There is no problem about it. It's always feel good to give back.
