We started using Basedash right after setting up our database. It let us create an admin panel on top of our SQL database to manage our users and handle ops. The fact that you don't need to write a single line of code, or even drag-and-drop a UI together, is a huge win. It does a lot of work behind the scenes to create a solid admin panel so that you don't even have to think about it. That being said, it's also super flexible, so you can customize every aspect of your admin panel for your team (with lots of controls around permissioning).
It only supports SQL databases as data sources. We'd love to be able to pull in data from our API directly which has more complex business logic.
Like most companies, we needed a way for our team to access and manage certain data from our database. For us, that meant a solid user dashboard, and a way to manage commands.
