No downsides. More integration with existing workplace tools would be great to gain feedback throughout pockets of the day and meet users where they're spending time - slack, teams, zoom, etc.

Balloon is a fantastic tool for gathering creative ideas and helping surface input from every corner of a team or organization.

I used to wish for more options to export and further organize responses, but love that there's now a CSV option.

We use Balloon for event planning, big-picture creative thinking about the direction of the business, and (most helpfully) surfacing pain points or challenges that the team can discuss without judgment.

The "pumping up" of each other's ideas allows better insights on employee sentiment (vs surveys), and the expert-led questions allow better question asking

Knowing what the individual team members ideas, questions, concerns are, as well as where there is "collective" energy, worry, etc. Also allows me to harness their ideas without them worrying about "if it's a dumb idea" or that anyone will judge them since it's anonymous

Balloon is uniquely able to source authentic insights from a group of people on any range of topics. It's more effective than a traditional survey. It accelerates productive meetings by facilitating unbiased conversation. And best of all, it's really simple to use. This is the type of tool that helps transform org cultures by ground-swelling the learning mindset.

There could be some additional features built to encourage follow through on the results.

We are using Balloon for AARs, Retrospectives, Team huddle alignment, Innovation workshops...etc. The tool is effective before meetings, during meetings, or after meetings because it aligns thinking/input from a collective group without introducing unnecessary human dynamics.
