"Great Automation Tool, Very helpful Customer Support"
What do you like best about BackBox?

BackBox's automation has been a huge help! We run backups and schedule firmware updates on firewalls all the time.

Support has been the best I have used of any tool. Anytime we have a problem or need to have new functionallity we email support and within a day we either have it fixed, or a call scheduled to get it fixed or a custom made script for what we are needing.

It is an easy tool to add automations, when we need to check or change a config on 100's of firewalls. It only takes a couple of mintes and we have the info or change that we need.

What do you dislike about BackBox?

I wish we had licenses to add our switches into BackBox.

What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have backups with reports for finising or erroring.

Automation with 100's of firewalls is a breeze.

Support I can count on if I need something new.

"Great tool and great team"
What do you like best about BackBox?

A tool that provides many possibilties other than just backing up devices. Automation at it's best. The support team is outstanding, they rapidly respond and always resolve my issues quickly. BackBox was easy to setup and bring into our environment and the intergration was a breeze. We use BackBox everyday and it is our main backup tool but we use the intellichecks feature mostly, which allows us to reduce the time spent on tasks which would take hours.

What do you dislike about BackBox?

Not a dislike, but more of a missing resource. I would like to see more detailed help on how to use the tool to it's fullest.

What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?

Replacing tasks, that would take up many man hours, with Intellichecks, and the detail in the reports we receive everyday notifying us on all the backups is great.

"Basic setup and backups are easy to use and when its not the support is amazing."
What do you like best about BackBox?

Built in device feaures for ease of use and setup. The ability to clone an existing product to edit allows you to create custom "scripts" that are specific to your needs. It allows Backbox to be limitless with its scripts and what they can do. For example; my company uses a lot of Cisco Small Business switches. They are not a default device in Backbox but the subtle differences allow me to clone a Cisco enterprise switch and edi the commands so that they pertain to the small business line. You can also create remediation process based on "intellichecks" that discover different things within your network.

Upgrades are easy

Adding new devices are easy

What do you dislike about BackBox?

Some devices are not in the list of default devices. It takes a little bit of knowledge to make it work. The great news is where that can be a bit daunting for myself, the support is great at working with you one-one-one to create a custom script to make it work how you need.

What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?

We focus mostly on getting backups of our switches but we also use it to perform upgrades across all of our switches with a little automation. We really like the script hat was created to check all of our switches to see what firmware version its running and run a report that spits out what versions all device are running so we can identify the switches that need upgraded then run jobs to do the upgrade across the environment.
