Azure Platform is user friendly platform where work can be done in easy way, Azure IOT Hub provides flexibility to add the IoT devices based on our business needs, Data handling is more fast and secure Through Azure IoT Hub
The main disadvantage of the IoT Hub is device addition is limited in Azure IoT Hub and for adding more devices organization has to invest more money to avail the services
The main problem that Azure IoT Hub solves is handling of sensor data that IoT devices generate every second and storing in cloud , request and response services can be easily handled by Azure Iot Hubs
Security which is best on sas token before any device connected to iot hub needs dps registration which makes communication more secure.
We don't have that much provisions on iot hub to convert any kind of data into specific format for example such binary to decimal conversion.
Iot hub can connect multiple devices so handling millions of devices using iot hub is beneficial.
The reason I would blindly go with Azure IOT Hub as a go to tool when create an IOT Infra is because of it's excellent design as well as excellent documentation which quickly helps me setup things to my needs. Another major reason is the support community that is present online that can quickly help you solve any problem that you may face as you build and integrate cool stuff.
The only demerit I would say to it is it's slow cycle in which it brings new features compared to other Cloud IOT vendors.
Azure iOT provides a ready to use IOT Infrastructure that can allow you to quickly setup your tools without having to bother about setting up the infrastructure. It allows you to focus on your task.
All things were amazing. Each tech is easy to use and documentation is well described. It is also not that expensive and can easily be integrated with all current applications.
Nothing is to be disliked. All things as of now which I tried was easy to implement. They were not expensive and were pocket friendly. Documentation was also readily available.
It is helping in many ways. Being IoT, it helped in integrating all devices over the network communicate easily without any issues. This was the major plus point.
Azure Iot hub provides a ease of service to handle iot relates operation in an eassy manner and also data related operations are easy
Cost of the azure iot hub is more and also devices has some limitations we can't add more devices which will cause burden to company
Maintaining sensor data has become easy
Helps easy to capture sensor data and store them
Security in connection while connecting iot devices to iot hub via virtual network.
The pricing is affordable as compared to competitors.
Everything seems good there is no point to discuss for dislike
We are having sensors in manufacturing hub and by using this service it's easy to track and manage them
We can easily store all the data while communicating with multiple devices at once. Devices can send the data and we can send back the commands in an easier manner without much hassle.
If this software/tool can be integrated with the other tools then it would make much more sense as alone this tool is a little technical to use because the data being sent or received is not so simple to analyse. Machine learning tools are required at later stages.
In the business of let us say telecommunications or some geographical analyst work, where we need to collect the data in order to understand the ongoing pattern, this IoT hub helps.
The walkthroughs when first using it. Also the ability to see all things in one centealized location is a huge bonus. Ive only used it for a senior design project for school but it was very functional
I domt have any dislikes of it. As i said in the previous paragraph i only used it for a senior design project when i was in college. I havent used it every day for work.
The senior design project was using IoT to help people with a disability. We used it as a hub for our IoT robotics data and everything for machine learning in the project.
I thought the Azure IOT hub was easy to learn how to use. I used it for an asset management project and, having never used the tool before, had no trouble navigating it.
The only downside that I experienced when working in the Azure IOT hub was the cost. My team had to be mindful of every little expense because we found they added up quickly.
My team and I used Azure IOT hub for an asset management solution. Our company has assets that range drastically in size so we needed a way to manage tracking those.

A cloud platform through which different devices are managed through iot
