Azalea's client support surpasses some other EMR I have ever utilized. From the charging pro, usage staff to technical support, I have never connected for help without getting a prompt reaction. I have been practicing for over 20 years. Moving from paper charting to electronic records, I have worked with 4 EHR companies. Azalea Health is, by far, the best I've utilized. Customization for my practice was easier than any other company. Being able to offer potential adjustments or additions to the platform has NEVER happened with other companies. They have their pretty white box and that's what you get. Azalea Health listens to their clients and, whenever possible, try to incorporate changes/improvements to their system.
Occasionally, the system will slow down. When this happens, it usually improves if we clear our browser cache/memory. I wish we didn't have to do this but, with a cloud based system, and all that data being transferred, it is a necessary item to have to do regardless of which system you use.

Having been able to be a part of the customization of our end product, we were able to stream line our paper charting to electronic with little disruption to our clinicians. Their documentation is improved (and legible). Billing is nearly as seamless.

I enjoy the in office tasks for communicating in the office. They become a part of the patients chart which is helpful.
Azalea's customer support has consistently assisted me in my role as COO in finding better ways to increase the efficiency of day-to-day operations. We have been able to better communicate with patients, reduce unnecessary phone calls, plan scheduling and use many reporting features to get a good 10,000-foot view of the entire practice, specific sites, and providers.
We are unique in the our practice has "partner sites" where we are contracted to provide services for patients associated with that specific location and where we "share" the patient experience. There are ways that having a patient portal used for locations rather than individual patients could be a little easier to navigate. Also, I have spent the past few years creating instructions for staff and patients on using azalea that would have been nice to have had provided at onboarding.
Take the time with the representatives to outline the specific nature of your practice. Prepare the documents you want to add to the system. Feel at ease identifying staff to learn how to create products. Take a step back 90 days into implementation to review the features you aren't using and find a way to see if you should use them. Make an effort to connect with the Azalea Team and value how their input can improve your performance.
Productivity with providers has improved using the recall feature. The clinic analysis reports give an accurate view of who we actually see rather than relying on anecdotal information.
The systems are very easy to navigate and very user friendly. You can always talk to a representative when needed and they support each client. I was introduced to the system with very little knowledge of the EHR and was able to navigate through it on my first day of use. Over time my knowledge of the product continues to grow and every new employee that we bring is able to jump right in the system and begin to learn.
I have not found any part that I dislike. There can always be improvements in every system, but this system is very smart and the more you stay in it, the more you learn each day. Each time we discuss an item of dislike with our support team from Azalea, they give us a solution to fix the isssue or give us guidance on the time frame it will be until that item is introduced to all.
Give it a try and when you don't know, ask; you will get the help you need.
The benefits gained by being able to process many types of reports and to track everything done in the system. Azalea Health has improved our revenue over a very short period and I believe that we will continue to make it better with their help.
I love how customizable the system is, especially when it comes to the physician's charts. Every aspect of the chart can be formatted to a specific physician's desires.
I wish there was more specificity with reports. While there are many options for the type of report generated, the degree to which the reports can be edited and what information the user would like could use some improving.
Get familiar with you Account Manager and Support. They're your best source for quick and efficient help...in my opinion.
Virtually all of our RHC's use Azalea as our EHR. Their rapid response and in depth involvement in not only our revenue cycle, but day-to-day operations; has been an invaluable asset to our success as physician clinics and hospitals.

When updating demographics/dashboard, you have to sign out and then sign back in to get the update.
It is a user friendly software for billing.
