Axcrypt is very userfriendly, that even non-technical users can figure it out. You simply right-click to encrypt or right-click to decrypt the files. The administrator console is also very easy to use and get around in. It is very much a set and forget program which does not need a lot of maintenance.

In earlier version there would be an issue with duplication of files when they were encrypted. This would happen due to the program being open still during encryption. I have not noticed this issue in newer versions of the product.

We need to keep our files encrypted for contractual purposes. I needed a solution that was both easy to implement and easy for the employee's to use. Axcrypt is both of these.

It is a free and easy-to-use software that can encrypt and decrypt files and folders with just a few clicks. Another advantage is that it offers an interface in French.

If we do not subscribe to the premium version, we are quickly limited.

We sometimes work on sensitive data. Encryption of that data increases our security.
